After placing them in there, right click the files, go to Properties and set them to read-only.

Alternatively use a custom launcher (better way)

If you look at the ground you see the the shadow of the map. The draw distance also shows that it's actual size.
The draw distance messes up with scaled down interiors

he just put himself on an invisible brick far in front of the bedroom and it makes him look huge

Wrapperup's method is not inefficient
Looping through the whole server connection which can contain like 280000 objects and comparing the classname of each to a string is just as efficient as looping through a list with like 20 entries, you're right

Does it HAVE to be the images? Can it also be the brick datablocks?

Because, then you can just do

And it will list all bricks (the uinames appear in the list), without requiring the client to download a giant list as it figures out the datablock list itself

I'm not 100% sure but you might need to move the GUI to a .cs file in order to do that.
.cs, .gui and .mis is handled exactly the same by the engine.
