I've never had that problem...  But I know that the modem is old and it's behavior has been getting more and more frequent.  I'm going to bet that it's dying.

All day, my cable modem was being a forgetoff and not connecting to the internet.  I've got no idea how long it will stay on so any ideas on what the problem is would be a big help.
