Proceed with caution
The crew quarters prove that this was undoubtedly manned by humans. A bed (with a strap so they dont float away in space) is there with a computer drilled to a desk which is also drilled to the floor. The computer wont work underwater, of course, but you might be able to get something out of it...

The corridor reminds them of old images of the ISS, but more advanced. Still, anything they find appears to have been broken or rendered of no use. They keep swimming on until they find what appears to be some crew quarters. It seems to be untouched. Proceed?

The hatch opens revealing a corridor that looks like it was built for space. All visible consoles and electronics appear to have been taken apart and destroyed. Wires are visible and hanging, having been sheared or rendered useless.

I'll take that as a no.

The naval divers switch on their helmet lights and activate cameras feeding video back to the RS Denvon. They then approach the hatch, looking for a way into the hollowness of the craft.
There's a simple lever, with a locking mechanism but it has been left unlocked

Tensions among all countries start to rise, citizens are getting upset that you are not doing anything about the weird thing in the middle of the ocean.
