Yeah in addition to trade stopped, Khon movement between planets that have the fungi have stopped. So you should have some infected khon citizens still there.

United Khonia restricts all trade with humanity and requests humanity does the same just in case there are diseases that affect humans. They work on trying to develop a cure, but for now the best they could do is surgically remove the fungi from under the ridges of those infected, not guaranteeing removal.

It's like the discover of oil with the replacement of coal.  If you find a source, you may harvest the rocks containing the deposit.  Refine them by crumbling the rocks and putting them through a high-powered centrifuge.

is oil and coal now useless? and what does gravitanium look like and where would you find it?
