this was going to be a super futuristic thing but it proved too complicated so no lolAnother nation RP series I will make, this takes place in OUR possible future, which means yes, USA, France, etc does exist in this reality.
Ever since the thirties many space fairing nations have worked to set up permanent colonies in space. However, the closest they could get is setting up mining bases on some close by asteroids and on the moon. When NASA found a possible earth-like planet at the nearby star system Alpha Centauri many nations' space agencies competed to build a space vehicle that can travel there in less than 100 years. However the USA would not come on top this time, and in fact Russia managed to make this technology first.
Russian colonists lifted off to Alpha Centauri in 2056, followed with USA, Chinese, and finally the European Space Agency. Ships arrived at 2086 to find the planet's conditions even better than what was at Earth, bright blue skies, the planet's equivalent to plant life beautiful. It was like being at a tropical island, but it was the whole planet.
Of course, before lifting off, there needed to be some kind of faster-than-light communication. You simply can't wait more than three years to get a status update. Luckily they developed that, and called this technology Subspace Messengers as a joke off of many science fiction stories. But it worked like it did, and now the colonies can chat directly with their home planet.
Of course, this far away from Earth, you will need to establish your own form of government. It is impossible for your parent nations to control you from this far away. You have been granted permission to start your own nations.

Rules:It's important that you follow the rules, before and after you make a country.
You can:
1. Start a small conflict with anyone, within reason.
2. Form alliances. Contact the person you'd like to form an alliance with before you do so.
3. Establish trade routes.
4. Post your national news to inform the community.
5. Form colonies to access new materials.
6. Whatever you can think of that's not below. (Ask me first if you are questionable about it!)
You can not:
1. Have any super laser weaponry stuff or travel light speed shuttles, we're not THAT far into the future.
2. Use real world leaders to represent your colony IE: Riddler, Stalin, Bush, Obama, etc.
3. Have really stupid and handicapped name like "SUPERGUNNATION" or "MINECRAFTLAND". Be creative.
4. Create stupid alien technology stuff about super powered weapons, invasions, first contact ect.
5. Start with a massive amount of land.
If you nation does not follow the rules, it will be suspended.
