Luckily Orion's terraforming plans were at the capital, not venus.
Plans have been created to find ways to terraform Mars, however it would be harder because Mars' atmosphere is quite thin.

Asteroids that could be colonized safely at the Venus Cluster have been discovered.
Currently they are called Venus I, Venus II, Venus III, Venus IV, and Venus V.
They are all rocky with no real atmosphere.
Accepting name changes.
