The monitor displaying what is being recorded on the webcam immediately turns black, and white text appears on the screen reading "SIGNAL LOST."
The machine once again begins to whir and shake violently, and this time nearly tips over as it shakes.
It stops with a deafening buzz and a CD of the sandbox game, Garry's Mod slides out of the machine.

You insert the CD back into the machine.

Forum Games / Guess where the quote originates from: the sequel

Alright, people. You know the deal.  User posts a quote that can be from anywhere, next poster answers or guesses where it originates from, and then it repeats. Alright, I'll go ahead and start with a quote that I've always kinda liked.

"Show me some goddamn respect!"

I remember one time when I played multiplayer on Midnight Club 2's demo. Met a bunch of kind players on there and played a bit of CTF on Los Angeles. Man, those were the days.

For me, It's ROBLOX. I remember discovering a game called Downhill Derby and playing it for hours on end with all kinds of other players dressed up as the old zombie. (green skin, brown pants, etc.) I can remember some of the cars and the environment as well. It was a sunset down a blocky/rocky brown hill, which had a row of about 9 cars you could enter and would respawn at random intervals if they were destroyed or were abandoned. They were extremely fast and were unstable as hell. They seemed to accelerate at random intervals when entered by a player. (unlike the old roblox vehicles where you had to equip a empty tool named Drive or something like that and hit keys like H or X or Y to drive to where the mouse pointed)
You couldn't control the cars. You just got in, waited for them to drive down the hill, and see what happened. Sometimes you'd veer off and crash, or you'd get lucky and make it to the end and hit a ramp. I even still remember the logo on it. Black ramp, red and white stripes on the edges/sides, and a yellow biker helmet logo on it with a black visor on a red circle.
EDIT: I actually found a vintage YT video on it! It's actually called Motorstorm:Downhill Extreme. Here's the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HimeJ_NBMFY

vice city
i'm stuck on a mission where I have to drop bombs with a r/c helecopter
It really isn't as hard as you might think. If it's because of the damn workers with the hammers, just chop them up with your rotor blades. (not gonna ask how that would kill someone.) If it's because of the controls, reassign them. They're terrible to begin with, but reassigning them helps greatly. If it's the time or routes, try doing the targets in a different order. Cut as many as corners as possible to save time.

I've seen multiple YT channels using the same faces and same stuffty type of animation. Likely some base or animator or something. All I know is that I can't watch these without a strong urge to pour holy water all over my keyboard.

I'm seeing these animations all over YouTube with most of the titles being "when x tells you x" or many others. They almost always begin with when. Why are these even popular? It literally looks like there was no effort put into these types of animation.

Quick edit: forgot to put a link for a one of these types of videos. so uh, here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8Frh3LN5bU
