General Discussion / Mac OS 10.5 & v7/v8/v9

Well, I have Leopard, and the auto-updater for Mac doesn't work. I'm still running version 1.031 and tried the manual patches, but they're Windows executables (.exe) which I cannot open/run. Any word on future Mac support? Will v9 be available for me and the rest of the Apple crew? Is Badspot planning to do anything for the (lack of) Mac patches?

1. Don't use different colors.
2. Don't use pandas for emphasis.
3. Don't imply that nobody has tried to help you (also called moaning)
4. Do use proper grammar and spelling.
The above things will help keep you from looking exceedingly n00b-ish. You may want to re-download your copy of BlockLand to solve this. That would be my solution. You could try spawning a wrench and see if that works.
EDIT: There is something in the rules about not posting topics with the general title "Haelp Meh!"

QFT. Perhaps not that simple, but I can't think of another way (besides a tool to do it). It seems like BadSpot is on top of a lot of this, judging by the "Known Issue"-filled post.
So v9 wont be for mac and if it is we wont be able to use the add-on manager I think I'm going to cry
Who said that!? I'm running on a Mac, and happen to know that Torque works very well in that OS. I for one, am not buying a second OS, just to play BL (that may not be true, but w/e)

Help / Crash on Death.

When I die in BL, it freezes up and crashes. I'm guessing I've installed something weird, and wonder if anyone can help. Also, when I hit the ground hard, I get hurt, even if fall damage is turned off in the IGSO. Everything works fine online though.

Not the add-on directory!!! Then you get things like Add-ons/Add-ons/Add-ons/Shapes/Add-ons etc... Extract directly to your BlockLand Program Files Folder

Just extract them to your Blockland folder in Program Files. Unless you have a Mac like me, in which case, it is slightly more complicated.

Ive never seen it once.
Famous is deliberately in quotes. Multiple people have said "Hey, you ran that fight and build server for a while right?" We had at least 10 regular players, and 20-30 who showed up once or twice. It was fun, but we don't run it anymore (It was mostly run during the summer when we all had time to). If there is call for it...

I bet you could make a checkpoint type thing where, if you collect the item, that information is recorded, and after you die, it appears in your inventory again.
