DWARF FORTRESS

Praise Armok!

What is it about?
Building(or rather Mining) a fortress with the help of ~~Braindead~~ Dwarves, Managing dwaves and slaughtering unowned kittens for food.

I cannot figure how to do anything! Why can't I do anything!?
Dwarf fortress has a very loving steep learning curve, it gets exetremely enjoyable when you start to get a reasonable distance in the climb however. To learn how to run a fortress check the wiki, which link is at the bottom. A good guide on the wiki will also be posted.

Go slaughter some cats man, just make sure they are strays.

I don't like Ascii!
Get a tile set, down I've post the wiki's tileset section.

I have other questions!

I tried the demo. It was some glitchy stuff. The camera would start zooming really far off then spin the only way I found out to stop it was to exit the game.

New update came out a few days ago, demo users can play online(only on maps and gamemode demo allows though) and can play Lan without a restriction as long as the host owns the game.
