I'm on DontCare4Free's side of this. Developing your own web server may be fun, but it would be a lot of work to get the whole HTTP protocol. You probably shouldn't actually deploy it on a real site, even if it is just something for Blockland.

like refreashing the cache?
I tested this and it worked:
Safari > Reset Safari... (If you happen to be on windows it's Edit > Reset Safari...)
Check all boxes. (Well the last 2 are not required) I'm not sure exactly what you need to clear so just check everything.
Click Reset

Resetting Safari might clear the list of accepted/denied applets.

You should get Windows. Ubuntu is pointless useless you have it on a netbook or need it for a specific purpose, like hosting a dedicated server.

Wine, Java, Minecraft, and Blockland. <--- Thats what I did.
Blockland works on Ubuntu now?

I like how you completely didn't read any posts, much of which saying that we've met new people from smoking marijuana. If you want to bash somebody about what drug they do, then bash the pill heads, they're everywhere it's the new fashion drug, everybody is practically doing some sort of pain pill. Pills actually kill people, marijuana doesn't. It's so loving ridiculous how this stuff is legal and pot isn't.
My rant would apply to almost anyone who uses almost illegal drug for recreational use.
All medicine is controlled by the FDA. That's it can be legal. It is tested so we have a clear idea of what the side effects are and has warning labels.

A quick fix for the letters would be to make the prints black, not white.
The prints are currently white with a black outline so they show up on any color of paint.

And I think black prints on a white brick would still glow.

I'm only referring to high school because that's what almost everyone on this form is. You seem to be missing my point. I'm not saying you become less intelligent, I'm saying that the people who do drugs aren't going to be your most intelligent people. Smart people don't normally do stupid things. The people who have above average grades and are at the top of the class aren't going to want to ruin all their work because they have "possession of marijuana" on their record.

And sorry if I offend you, but face it, most people who do pot probably don't have much of a life. That's why they resort to doing pot, instead of doing something like working out that still gives you a good feeling.

Studies, like the one I posted, show that people who try pot are generally similar people. Just like most of the people who play Blockland are people who played with LEGOs as kids.

No study needs to show if kids use drugs when they participate in a sport. If you're caught using drugs, drinking alcohol, anything like that, you're off the team. That's their incentive to not do anything like that. At my school at least, it seems lots and lots of people get drunk pretty frequently, and lots do marijuana. There's an area just off campus where kids go to smoke during school (which I think is handicapped, frankly) but the school I go to is one of the top high schools in Washington in terms of college acceptance and whatnot. Two years ago, the graduating senior class had a 92% acceptance rate in college. The other 7% was gap-year students, traveling abroad, working to pay for college, etc...
Your right about sports. But it just shows that people get enough enjoyment from sports so they do that instead of smoke all day.
92% acceptance into what? Community college?

It. Is. A. Stereotype. And often times, the people who are getting C's and the such are the students that don't function to perform higher than that. There are lots of kids like that, and they find brilliance in other areas. At least that's the case with kids I know. Yeah, they smoke marijuana, yeah they don't get straight A's in school, but some of them make the coolest music, play some instrument extremely well, some invent things, it's just the way they work. You can argue all you want, even with the proof, but your "study" said itself it's not a national representation. That's numbers from Connecticut students.
But it's still a stretch to say that someone who smokes marijuana is highly intelligent. Sure, many stoners may be just average at B grades, but I'm sure there is rarely a stoner that is above average with straight As.
And about it not being a national average, look at the first quote in my above post. It correlates to other similar studies.

Quote
The findings are based on a survey of 4,097 Connecticut students in the ninth through 12th grades. Although the research is not a nationally representative sample, the results are similar to other national studies and offer a glimpse into the recreational life of a high school student.
Quote
The most likely users were 11th and 12th graders, as well as teenagers who had average grades in the B to C range or lower. Teenagers in single-parent households were more likely to report marijuana use than those in two-parent homes.
Quote
High school students who took part in sports or extracurricular activities were less likely to use the drug than those without any after-school activities. The exception was teenagers who were employed. Students who reported having a job outside of school were more likely to have used marijuana than those who were unemployed.
Quote
Not surprisingly, various risky behaviors like gambling, drinking, fighting, steroid use and smoking cigarettes were all associated with higher risk for using marijuana. Depression and self-harm behaviors like cutting were also associated with marijuana use.

This study was posted in a medicine journal, it's probably pretty accurate.

The "average stereotypical pot smoker" doesn't spend much of their lives online, like our friends here who have demonstrated a depth and knowledge of other subjects. The fact that they smoke weed as well, but don't fit the stereotype makes perfect sense. If they were doing stereotypical crazy things while high, or getting into other drugs thanks to marijuana, they wouldn't be here talking to us about it.
Can you show me any examples of this "depth and knowledge of other subjects". I rarely ever see anything intelligent posted around here anymore.

Ok maybe we have slightly different ideas of a stereotypical post smoker. the stoners I've seen are usally lazy, stupid, failing school and always getting into trouble. Now, I may not easily be able to assume of people here are stupid or getting into trouble, but just the simple fact that they don't have anything to lose by getting caught smoking weed shows that they probably aren't doing great in school. No intelligent person would risk it all just to feel high. And then the fact that they just smoke some weed to feel good, instead of putting some engry into doing something slightly more productive shows that they are lazy.

I've also noticed the people who advocate against weed know absolutely nothing about it. They figure if you smoke it, and it's not tobacco, it needs to be illegal because people turn into crazy ass monsters using it. The funny thing is, as mentioned earlier in the thread, tobacco is far more harmful, and yet it's been pretty much always legal for the past several centuries when it was discovered. People still don't advocate to get it banned even after having been proved severely harmful. I saw a sign outside a hotel that said "Warning: Tobacco has been proven to cause cancer, or other serious health problems. Please know you may be exposed to smoking in here" or something like that, it's from memory, idk.
Well I also find that people who smoke weed think they know everything about it just from their experiences and some liberal stoner websites. Yet no one here has been around long enough to prove or disporve any long term effects.

Also, many people fail to realize that our government is pretty much making tabacco illegal with all of it's taxes/ warning labels. Another thing people tend to not notice is that it is hard for our government to do anything about tabacco because of the industries lobbyist. Tabacco is a multi-million dollar industy, and believe it or not, they have some power in the governent through lobbying.

You act like you know about weed, when in reality you do not.  You don't belong in this topic, seeing as you have no idea how weed effects you.
How do you know that? I've done my research before posting here, probably more than you have every done. Also, now I sit in front of a stoner in class so I hear about it all the time. Like I said earlier in my post, smoking weed doesn't make you know anything about the long term effects. You'll have to wait and see if it harms you or not in 30 years.

And monocle, try harder. Everything you are saying is probably BS

No, you're just an idiot and I ripped 4 hours ago so there's no way I'm going to argue with you.
Would you at least explain why I am an idiot. You seem to be pretty sure about it so you must have some good reasoning. All you've managed to show me so far is weed smokers never get anything done.
