Create a robot that randomly taps keys?  :cookieMonster:
There might be a computer program out there that simulation input into applications.

Laptops.

Desktop i7 processors.

Anyone else seeing something wrong with the power consumption?

Battery Life
The X7200’s battery, while rather powerful, only sustained the X7200 for 29 minutes idling; it functions more like a UPS (uninterruptable power supply) rather than a battery. I am not surprised. Speaking of power, it is worth mentioning that the X7200’s massive power brick is rated for an astounding 300W and weighs about three pounds by itself; for comparison, the power supplies that come with most notebooks are rated for 65-90W. Using my Kill-A-Watt I saw the X7200 pull 296W under full load; at idle it consumes between 120 – 150W. A typical notebook consumes about 20-30W of power at idle.
Gaming laptops are a joke...

No it's not.
No no no no no it's not.
I have helped friends install Windows on their Macs. It makes it laggy as forget, and there are things that don't work correctly.
I've been using BootCamp for windows only games for like a year now and it works fine.

Maybe you confused BootCamp with VirtualPC, which is extremely laggy.

are you kidding me? bit.trip is an awesome game.
Well the music is cool but it's too hard for me even on easy. Everything happens too fast D:

FFFFFFFFFFFFF

It's peak playtime on steam and we are still only getting ~1.3% / hour.

Also someone should gift me Killing Floor. I spent all my money on Bit.Trip Beat and it kind of sucks. Steam name is TomThePolymer I think.

Apparently ideling doesn't get counted.

Spoilers: You see where it says "ZERO" on the site? That's where these numbers are supposed to go. Simple enough to find the links, just replaced "zero" in the name with real numbers.

-snip-
I think when it will come out it will show the number of people playing it.

buying a mac to run windows so it can run games?
As silly as it sounds, it's something that should be considered.

Also if you haven't already, look at this review. http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=5958&review=clevo+x7200+avadirect You will find that it runs fast and has average construction, but also has a bad keyboard/touchpad, and gets a whopping 29 minutes of idling battery life.

The internet's critics don't know anything, Tom.
WIMP.com had a very low rating on a review site, for not being child-friendly.
One of WIMP's goals is to be appropriate for all ages.
For the most part the gaming community isn't too satisfied with iBuyPower:

As I said in my early post, it seems like they are just offering extremely powerful computers at low prices. They probably don't care how reliable it is. It's simply too good to be true.

People don't seem to realize how Mac laptops have gotten much better in the last few years.

Don't even try to pull this stuff. You have to pay another 200 dollars to buy the Windows OS for one, and for another loving thing, it's laggy as stuff.
Don't
even
try.
I can run games at decent settings fine on BootCamp.

And you are are seriously going to buy from "iBuyPower"? Just google "iBuyPower reliability" and you'll see how you get what you pay for. Just the fact that they let you put a 6-Core in a laptop shows how they don't know what they are doing. Chances are they are offer these "unbelievable specs" to get you to buy their badly built computer because you can't even find anything comparable so you think it's the best.

Also, just getting "the highest hardware" is probably pretty stupid. Sure, you may not need battery life upgrading everything probably hurts it.

Apple also has the highest customer support ratings according to consumer reports.

Well how long is a while?  It wont be top of the line in 2 years.Actual hardware's power plays a significant role in gaming.
The funny thing is for the same price as the base Alienware model one could get a MacPook Pro with a faster proser than even available for the Alienware, with the same amount of memory. The only downside would be that the equivalently priced model has integrated graphics, but I doubt a lower-end mobile card could top that by very much.

If you're going to spend 3000 for it you might as well get a PowerBook. Mac Laptops are so much better and probably won't fall apart in a year.

I think you meant to modify...

I think there is just a lot of stress on the servers. It's taking awhile for my games to start too.

Name: C7:i4 Unit #57
Side: Combine
Class: Civil Protection Metrocop
Location: City 17, Overwatch Command Station #4
Inventory: Sunstick, Pistol, Manhack, Can of Dr>B's
Status: 90% Health

[After reading the rebel letter, I find out that some rebels from "Eli's Lab" are going to travel by the "railroad" to the gather point. We brought in the rebel we captured for interrogation, and we find out that the "railroad" was a route in the cbrown towns to and from City 17.]

[I use the aide station and swap my pistol out for an SMG, then board our dropship that flies us to a bridge on the cbrown towns.]

NET Inventory: Sunstick, SMG (270), Manhack
NEW Location: Waterways
NEW Status: 100% Health

Me: I don't see anything yet.
Unit 43: Awaiting visual contact with target.
[Radio] This is squad 5, reporting rebels on airboats heading north.
[Shortly after the radio call I see the rebel airboat coming. They are being followed by one of our combine boats. I watch as the rebels shoot at the combine boat. After a few good hits the boat explodes, and a rather large chuck of shrapnel hits the rebel airboat and pushes it around so it is facing sideways. I rappel down the side of the bridge and shoot some rounds at the rebels (Remember that Metrocops like me shoot their SMGs from the waist so they are highly inaccurate)]

NEW Inventory: Sunstick, SMG (203), Manhack
