We cannot scientifically prove that you do or do not physically become dependent to marijuana. Making a random set of people consume marijuana would be unethical.

And sure you can get addicted to anything. You can compare marijuana to caffeine and food, but neither have been proven to cause permanent damage. The fact about marijuana is that we just don't know enough about it. Just like everyone thought tobacco was harmless, but we really just had never thought it could have caused harm until everyone started using it.

The moral problem with it: Even if we assume that it doesn't cause very much damage, if it were legal it would probably be abused just like alcohol. People would have college students going to parties to get stoned and die. People would get in wrecks and harm other people. People would describe how awesome it is to get high and next thing you know you have kids who don't even know how to spell it that want to try it.

People pro-marijuana say that you have to be complete idiots to hurt yourself with marijuana, but they have to remember that when you give people drugs, they are complete idiots with it.

Studies have shown that people who abuse marijuana are pretty much permanently addicted to it. But you hear a lot about fat people who are able to start eating right and recover.

If you are the kind of person that easily becomes addicted to food you would become just as addicted to drugs.

I agree that pot isn't the most dangerouss drug, but you have to be stupid to think it's harmless.

long term studies with thousands of people > your personal experience.

Have fun with your mental illness stoners.

I'm going to keep posting this real proof that marijuana can have bad side effects until you stop making up facts about how harmless it is.

How did you make circles without triangles?

EDIT: "Rectangles Only" is a stupid challenge idea. As far as I know, models are always rendered by triangles. So technically every model has triangles. People may actually have triangles in their models but they don't notice it because their program doesn't render the subdivs.

Here is same .obj file being displayed in wireframe in Wings3D and Milkshape to demonstrate.

Actually marijuana has been proven to help against mental illness, especially in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder as well as general depression.
Show me the studies.

I agree with Supreme that the scope is too big and people are writing too much.

We need to limit this to a very small area and scenario. Right now people can just be anywhere so we get a whole bunch of people spread out all over the place, and no one really gets to interact.

We also need to not let people make up anything they want, or before we know it this will be nothing like Half-Life 2.

And when it comes to writing, I think we need to write it like scripted dialog. It also needs to mostly be focus on your actions as your role, because this is not "Half-Life 2 Storytelling" Something like this for example:

[I walk into a room]
Me: Hello everyone! I am Tom!
[I take out my gun and shoot at everything]
Me: LOLOLOLOL SHOOTING IS FUN

Overwatch: All residences of local block, please report to inspection area immediately. Failure to co-operate will result in permanent off world relocation.
[I start with the first door to my left. Me and another squad member knock it down and rush in. I see a letter with the rebel logo on it, so I quickly grab it off the table. My partner grabs the resident of the room, and we drag him to the APC for questioning.]
Me: Haha. Looks like we're gonna have some fun.
[As I am running to the APC, a rebel starts to shoot me in the back, hitting me a couple times. I pulled out my pistol and fire a few shots back, and then board the APC. The APC drives off to our overwatch base.]

I highly doubt you had to pay $300 for the phone with a contract. They practically give away smartphone if you buy an expensive enough data plan.
