They nerfed rabadons while back

Thats what everyone thinks, But swain is not about nevermove. Every time fizz comes to lasthit you throw swains E and Q to fizz they both do damage even if fizz jumps, healing reduce also doesnt affect swain because you're already building him tanky roa->mercs->Rylais/abyssal
I can record and show you how swain works against fizz next time i get one against me or acid 1v1's me

Swain counters fizz mid and top, Nautilus counters fizz mid.
But yes swain is fun i like him because hes one of those ap carries that dont really have a "Counter pick" in mid other than galio

The highest mana item is an archangel staff, which also gives ability power from your max mana.
1.5% mana ratio nerf (on single target spells)
+
1% mana ratio buff (on a multi target spell)
+
20% ap ratio buff (which means 0.6% of mana because of archangel staff)
Translates into...
0.1% mana ratio buff
I ment that you cant build him as tanky just like phreak says in patch preview, You would still get tear and archangels despite the nerf

The point was he is my favorite mid.
Hes around the 8th best ap mid currently if you can trust the pros of this game

I feel like all the newer champs swamp out the classics sometimes.
Do you guys think that with the abundance of champs, that playing one people haven't seen in a while will dominate?
It used to be that way for say people like Urgot, or Cass.
Just wondering if I can roll in with a Karthus mid for old time's sake and still laugh at how many times people run into my glowing balls of death.
Karthus is still really viable and played in major tourneys?

« on: April 28, 2012, 07:23:45 AM »They made ryze deal less damage if you build him tank, its a pretty big nerf. Ryze is a mage with 0 ways to get out of focus from teamfights so, building him less tanky is going to hurt.
Fizz is nice
Also the last game was fizz support lol
