Was the add-on approved? Mod's usually make sure an addon works before approving it, so it might just be you.

Yeah there were some jumpy moments in Doom 3. Mostly because the game is so god damn dark 99% of the time and you have no idea where you are going or what's around you.

You know what's fun? following people even if you aren't supposed to kill them. Because they get all paranoid and go behind a door, as soon as you walk in they try to kill you, and then get a penalty. :D

I had some demo of some Japanese horror game for the PS2, I kept jumping out of my seat every 5 seconds.
Same with some other zombie game where the zombies would pop out at you in the most odd times.
