TF2 has absolutely nothing to do with Half Life.

TF2 is alright, you really do need teamwork but your whole team simply has to understand that. Otherwise if everyone does their own thing without looking at what class your team needs, etc, you fail. Horribly.
TF2 is amazing simply due to it's innovative design, not to mention that each class is played oh so differently. It takes some thinking and startedgy while you're playing. You can't go all hero and try to take out the team all by yourself, no matter how good you are, you will die in under 5 seconds.

Uh those features are only to make the game harder. It's not a life sim or anything.
For example while washing your hands or stuffting, the person that needs to kill you may come in and beat the living hell out of you with a god damn umbrella or a pool table stick.
