Dude, why have a torch that can be easily extinguished when you can have a flashlight (That's already there)? Unless you want this to be a weapon as well. Either way, interesting idea, not much use to it unless there comes a player mode that disables the light.

Some ideas: Shock wave emitted from the explosion like the HE grenade. Maybe particles on the ground can create a "ripple" effect. The ripple impulses you up into the air.

A GUI that either:

 + Detects the / commands and puts them in a list (Activated by a button)
 + Allows you to type out the command and saves it

In that list, you can place those commands into different groups that you put them in, with the ability to save these groups, and load them.

Double clicking puts the command all typed out in the chat (Or in another case a little bit below, the console).

Other possibilities:

 + Has the ability to work in the console
 + Can use key-binds to assign the /commands directly or indirectly

Reason for wanting: Convenience. Stuck in the middle of a DM? Just can't wait to type it out? Or you can't type it out quick enough? Just wanna do it faster? Just click on it twice.

Another quirk: Notice the fact that with this idea, you can also use this function as a way to click on regular words to put them on chat.
