You had some clear difficulty in defining the setting (some sort of ice cave that the character(s??) are there for some reason?), giving a sense of space and time, portraying a story (they need to go to this ice cave for something?) and portraying just what was going on (so they're arguing over a red lantern?).

For a movie without voices, you need, need, need to be good at those. Your camera angles didn't frame the shots well and were largely confusing. The first person camera gets old really fast too but the way you simulated desperate running was well done.

A gadget that spawns a bot that looks exactly like you that heads in the same direction you're traveling when you shoot it. Basically the hologram from Halo.

An old style movie camera that shoots giant film reels.

A magical shield/barrier that reflects projectiles back in the original direction that they were fired from.

A blocko style skull (white avatar head with a skull decal) that you throw like the spear or grenade that flies straight and isn't affected by gravity. It explodes on contact with a 2spooky "OoooOOOooooOOOooo" sound.

Near the end of the Day Cycle video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QttSJlHbKwk) it shows the sun setting over ACM City and everything taking on a reddish orange colour from the fading light from it while the shadows grow deeper blue. I saw from the preview video on youtube that you were able to change the colour of the sun and shadows. So when a sun is setting, will the shadows always turn more blue or just darken based on the colour given? I have a feeling that they will just darken but I feel like this is an important question.

:O colours could be a bit more realistic, and the inside doesn't look nice, but overall quite nice :)

He should be commended that he strayed away from the super "realistic", everything must be dark green or black scheme.

I like this.

The "Engineering Update" is out!

    • Levers
    • Gears
    • 2 types of axles (free rotate and constrained)
    • Propellers, fans and windmills
    • Wheels
    • Catapult scoops
    • Assorted beams
  • Maximim player cap increased to 100
  • Optimized latency and processing issues to work with new changes

Single player story mode added.
Individual servers are no longer possible and Blockland turns into an mmo type game. Everyone builds and plays on one huge server with the theme and skybox/terrain texture gradually changing over huge distance to account for space themes to city themes to medieval themes on the one server. No more mods and only official patches with user submitted creations like TF2 and Steam's Community Workshop are available.

I suggest adding the texture found on Blockland's ramp bricks to the collection if less of a terrain feel and more of a blocko feel is wanted.

I don't really find this to be a good game [and here's why]

I don't like the constant fetch quests either but I find this mod makes up for this and its other flaws with its atmosphere and fresh ideas. I'm having a blast with it, although I'm having trouble working up the courage to play past the beginning of Chapter Six :)
