Brick_Statue has individually-placable blockhead parts, but they are HUGE.

is it possible for someone to scale those bricks down so you can make an individually-placable life-size blockhead?

and that's basically the basics

The Pit of 100 Trials
Fight downwards through 100 dungeon rooms!
Defeat enemies and bosses!
You can team up with players, or go by yourself

so i started working on this.
you start out in a lobby with a few shops to power yourself up. these are not permanent. they go away when you die.
you move one-way through a series of dungeon rooms filled with baddies, kill them all to proceed and gain score.
there are little base camps scattered with loot and points, and maybe even some item sellers (at outrageous prices!)

you may end up face to face with a giant t-rex or blockhead or shark or horse or dragon.

team up with other server players to fight as a group!

by the way, this was why i asked about a shop system, for the better PlayerScale event for bots, for potions, and for blockhead brick parts.

will be packaged into a gamemode when it is done

i created long-reach lights, ability bots, and expansion bots whilst developing this
and also the life scythe, the fan shield, the propeller shield, the MPunch+ and ONE PUNCH, the corrupted sword, the bossweapons, and the backmusic bricks for music playing.

is there an existing mod for having parts of a blockhead (arm, shoulders, torso, head, pants, legs) as bricks?

if so, can you give me a link and a download link?

and if not, is it possible for someone to create one?

i'm very interested in a modification for Event_setPlayerScaleFull so that bots can also be scaled as well

so you can have giant bots, 5 times larger than normal

i finished some big projects recently and now i have spare time for something on blockland


only, what do i work on now?
i have ideas for expansions on Castle Crashers and that recent platformer gamemode, but maybe something else would be cool

regular brick damage is: destroy a brick, and it fakekills for a set period of time


what would be neat is a server mod where instead, brick damage destroys the brick permanently
(probably by deleting the brick, but without destroying anything on top of it)

should only work in minigames, but if that's not possible, then whatever



so you can have a deathmatch which starts out as a city but ends up as ruins and rubble

PLATFORMER

a while back i was wondering whether a platformer-like gamemode could work in blockland

so i built one

because of winter it's winter themed



thanks to Conan and Magus for cool hosting

you can host it or download it and play it on your own if you want


the game itself is actually very simple to host, just reach the end of the stage with your teammates while avoiding obstacles and falling off the stage


has a couple of speedier playertypes within the gamemode for increased agility
the only add-ons used in this is:
Platformer Bricks created by Armageddon, Mr.Noßody, and ottosparks, and
clearAllCheckpoints created by jes00

they're all in a package. there's also music.

anyone can host it



NOTABLE ISSUES:

  • there are a lot of bots. this may cause lag for hosters. an [activation radius] system is something i will look in to
  • [0]it seems that there is an odd glitch where large modter bricks, when fakekilled, cause anyone near it to have a screen of pure whiteness (if shaders are off) or pure blackness (if shaders are on). i have never gotten this so i have no idea how to fix it

i'm sorry to say, but it's true note: this is just a joke about how the "year" is only a few minutes or hours so i'll get to post again in a few minutes



just got back after a year, how are things like

when you stand on a checkpoint, the checkpoint stays with you forever (unless the checkpoint is deleted or you /clearcheckpoint)

what i want is a checkpoint (or server mod) that automatically clears checkpoints for everyone when the minigame resets



so for example, you could create a game where players advance and die a lot to accomplish a goal, with checkpoints along the way so it doesn't take forever
then when they finally win, the minigame resets and everyone spawns back at the BEGINNING, like it should, instead of the last checkpoint

well, it is finally nearly the end of the year 2015

what thoughts do you have about this past year? do you still consider it to be a year of lots of deaths? do you just want it to be over already?
