pancake man hosts year-long competition for 1000$

aka

the guy who's been trying to beat super mario 64 without pressing the A button (with a famous video about parallel universes, https://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=291800.0)
is hosting a competition for anyone to complete a course with as few A presses as possible. prize is 1000$.

it's now the season for all the radios and stores to blast nothing but christmas songs and the twelve dozen remixes and covers of those songs

personally they disgust me
it offends my ears to listen to vocal covers of 'i'm mister x christmas' or to slow remixes of rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, or some weird jazzy remix of white christmas, or any type of 'santa baby' or 'run rudolph run'
(although a few of the songs are good, shh. mostly the originals)

i just tune it all out. christmas music still sux though

considering the decade+ lifetime blockland has, and the fact that we'll likely never see servers from the distant past ever again, what were your favorites? or at least the ones that stand out the most in your head?

for me, it'd be:
red_guy's infinite mining (it got boring after a few days but in the beginning it was really really cool... also one of the first servers i joined)
wizard's dogfight
k9's zombie hotel
[]----[]'s mafia madness
badspot's block party 2013 (desert-themed. it was a fantastic build)
reinforcement's trench wars
one or two of those halloween festival builds
gytyyhgfffff's battlemix (probably the one i remember the most)
conan's horse menustration (also the first one i've played in a long time, so :/)

i don't remember any other servers to be honest :R

previous theory was that the universe was infinite in size and unbounded, aka flat universe

current news suggest that the universe is finite- not by a wall or a limit, but if you went far enough in one direction, you would end up looping back to wear you started. essentially, it's like travelling around a sphere in which you'd end up going around it back to where you started... except in 3d
