OP didn't even cite any specific examples, which honestly makes this a pointless topic in the first place.
If you're going to make a broad topic about a certain behavior, at least include plenty of examples.

But without examples, anyone agreeing with OP is just throwing their insults of "no lives" "attention whores" and "losers" at whoever the OP was last talking to, without any idea who the person actually was. It's not right to insult someone you don't know, now is it?

Not knowing someone doesn't means its not ok to insult them. With your logic, there would be barely a drama board, as barely anyone here knows each other IRL.

Trying to hard isn't the right phrase, I apologize. It's "hopping on the bandwagon".

OP asked a question and most of the first page said their answer. I don't see why you are coming to that conclusion.
