at 1/1000th of a light-year away our sun would look like a regular star in the sky
at 90 light-years away our sun would disappear because our sun is pretty small compared to most stars.
BUT, almost all of the stars we see in our night sky are 90+ light-years away. meaning all of those stars that we see and marvel at at night.... if there were to be life in any of those systems... they cant see us back

time slows down as your speed increases so as you accelerate towards the black hole the world around you is moving faster while seeming the same for you.

well you see time is a relatively subjective concept only pertaining to humankind. nature and existence as a whole don't really care about time it just does its thing because that's what it needs to do. what is time? are there other forms of time? we know it's infinite and continuous, but does it infinitely extend backwards too? we can only see history through capturing light. if we look up to the sky through a telescope and see something that's 1000 light-years away, we are seeing it as it was 1000 years ago because it takes 1000 years for it's light to reach us. light seems to be essential to understanding and recording time that happened in the past. as far as i know we dont need light to understand time in the future. there is no way to understand the future. it happens and it will happen because time is infinite.
with that being said, light cant escape black holes so if we somehow use black holes for time travel, would it even be possible to go back in time? how would time travel to the future work? is spacetime so forgeted within a blackhole that time simply just doesnt exist and it just stops? there are so many questions
