- There will be 5 players playing at once. If someone doesn't respond within 3 days, they will be removed and the next person on the waiting list will enter the game.
- Each player's first post will be a description of their character, their background, and their values and/or goals.
- If I do not post within 4.5 days of my last post then the new Game Master (provide a link to your own topic) will be the next person on the player list and a new player will enter from the waiting list if needed.
- Order of priority on the player and waiting list will be first come, first serve.
- Posts MUST be at least a paragraph long. That means 5 sentences. If it is not long enough then you need to "show, not tell," add more description, or better yet, simply do more on your turn.

General Discussion / You Are the Movie Production Team

I just watched Revenge of the Sith and am inspired to make a BL movie. Revenge of the Sith doesn't have the traditional plot aspect of suspense, but rather an unfolding of events where you already know the result. It's kinda like the same thing as watching history. I love it. Nice to have a break from the mainstream plot structure. However, in this movie I would like to include suspense because it's not a prequel to anything.
Now I want everyone who wants to contribute to have equal say in the production. I don't want any power to overrule any ideas, but all decisions should be majority. First up, the idea. What are you thinking?

I am thinking about starting a new clan. It will be unique in the fact that it's main purpose is member activity. It's name could even BE Active or Activity or something. The clan will be for anyone who is always playing Blockland.
A little about myself (blid 3245): I adore Blockland 'cause it's basically a hub to make any game you want, and I always come crawling back to it. I am an excellent eventer and a good builder. I can host and and am willing to purchase Kalphiter's hosting service as well. I'm moving out into the adult world next month so I'll have to budget my time, but I'll never leave BL. I'm an intellectual leader, who is nice and has quite a bit of experience with leading in other games.
Is anyone interested?

General Discussion / Regenerating the file manifest manually

When you host, Blockland always freezes when the first person connects. I guess this is because your server doesn't upload the files into it's cloud until someone connects. I don't mind it, except that people are impatient and disconnect while it's frozen for 10 seconds. I wish there was a way to to regenerate the file manifest manually.
Lock: Just tried being on the client side of the first connection. There is absolutely nothing that happens that would make me wanna quit; it's just handicapped people leaving as soon as they join.

So I looked at the console for my dedi and found that when i put my computer on sleep mode everyone timed out. FUUUUUUU whoever told me i could put my comp on sleep mode while dedi is up.

Community Project: Lands
Epic Lands/Areas/Zones/Regions/Territories. Basically a variety of cool terrains seperated by mountains, etc.
Build on baseplates so your lands can be moved around. You can also build parts on plates so you can duplicate them and peice them together.
