Go to a BestBuy or something and try it out for a bit and see if it's to your liking

exactly this. there is a huge hate windows 8 bandwagon on the internet which will influence you not to get it. i tried it in a store and liked it so i downloaded a 90 day trial and found it great, so I bought it

Sure. Just get another computer that has 7 (or Vista or XP), so that you can play Blockland on that computer.

What the forget are you talking about? Applications that work on 7 work on 8 also and if they dont, just use compatibility mode

Because of new chat update showing past chats, scammers could use the /me command to make sure there chat logs wouldnt show up to them, and steam has a pretty large RPing community and today they got rid of it out of nowhere

What followed was a flame war, and personally, reading this you might not give a stuff, but i do RP every once and awile, and personally, if you think about, its like taking features away, what if badspot where to take away the ability to post BBC tags? It would personally impact alot of people on here.

Though you could say theres alternatives to the /me command "Ex : 2 *s, etc" the /me command was a faster way to do it.
