Beast Survival Thing: The Guide

Description
Using my Foreign Planet build, a ripped apart food mod and trench mod combo, and various events and playertypes, I made this. You live as a species and fight, hunt, explore, eat and do other things. This guide is contantly being updated.
Species

The Hunters

The Hunters are a good all around species. They have the ability to craft weapons. While not at strong physically as the Canias, weapons will help you fight them off. Their base is amoung the jagged cliff mountains.
Tips for the Hunters
  • Your base is high up, so make use of the sight.
  • You are right next to the fruit trees and the hand temple is just below the waterfall.
  • You can easily use trees as transport by jumping onto the top of one of them and hopping across. This is an easy way of keeping safe.
The Legolias

Living in a cave, the Legolias resemble similar traits to the hunters. With the ability to craft bows and swords. Usually are easy to kill if they are by themselves.
Tips for the Legolias
  • Your base is located on a cliff AND in a cave, make good use of it.
  • Newer players may not be good enough to travel across the map to get food, help them by dropping off food in base.
  • The Canias base is right down the river, luckily, you are upstream so it is easier for you to reach them then vise versa.
The Canias

While not able to make weapons, the Canias pack a powerful bite. Their bite serves as a food source, if you eat an enemy, you gain food. Their base is inside a cave close to the Legolias
Tips for the Canias
  • You are faster then the others, you can chase down lone foes with ease
  • Powerful alone, a force of nature in a group. No one with a right mind dares challenge a pack of you.
  • You have no ranged abilities. It is wise to stay under trees to avoid arrows.

Things in nature

The Hand Temple

This temple allows you to craft a Swords or Bows. You need 10 wood for a bow, 10 Iron for a sword.

Why I should pick Sword
  • Other enemies will be scared to go up against someone with a sword, as you will defeat them in melee with ease
  • It has longer range then the basic attacks
Why I should pick Bow
  • It is ranged, which helps if you are on a mountain
  • You can use it to send flares.

Food
People mistake the take food tool for harvesting. The difference:
Take food is used to take food that is dropped in your base.
Harvest is to take food off a trees and bushes.
Harvest by clicking
Take using the tool.
Eat food by typing /eatfood.

Food source A: The bush

Located right next to the wood, this is a bountiful source of food.

Food source B: The tree

These trees are located near the Hunter's base, be alert if you choose to forage there. There are plenty of trees but you may have to jump to reach the food.
Resources
Wood

This tree is the only place to get wood. It is located next to the bushes of food. There will usually be people there.

It is like events but usuable only by the host and super admins. These allow customization of the game. Like

[Group name: Messagedeath]
onplayerdeath - minigame - VCEModVariable - Players - subtract - 1
onplayerdeath - minigame - VCEifVariable - Players - == - 0
onVariableTrue - minigame - centerprintall - All players have died.

These are opened by a GUI keybind, where it will list all event groups like so.

Holy stuff that was amazing. I am amazed by the technology we have to make all of it seem real. I have a feeling that movie is going to be put back in theaters next year. Watching it on a small screen would not be comparable to the theaters. I was also surprised by the way all the vehicles seemed to look like they were from halo.

The big giant one's roosterpit window look EXACTLY like the pelican from halo.

Ephi, could you tell us who this is please. He seems to be stealing names of people he knows that other people know. I have over 20 stuff uploaded on RTB mods so I have a feeling people mainly know who I am just by seeing my name plastered all over RTB. Same with Pandan, as he makes lots of mods. GSF ghost's maps are used a lot, even if they are not good. His other names just seem to be troll names. Again, Ephi, please share your IP skills and tell us who this is.

I am sick of it. I join Iban's TDM today and am the last one standing but get votekicked by "Johny 3 tears" Then rejoin and get votekicked for doing nothing. I wasn't even in the minigame, by snickers. This idiot named sk8ergamefreak follows me around and spams the chat saying "heed is noob" because I banned him for being an idiot.
I get to deal with this every 5 minutes.

I came into my dedicated server this morning to find this waiting for me. By crazy builder.

I join someone's trench WAR and see someone say no fighting.

I go to Techno's dogfight and get this.




All the other servers either lag, contain the same thing there ones do, are family RPs, army rps, life RPs, terrible city RPs, dog RPs, or free admin.
Open up the server list right now and count how many of these things I listed there are.

It would be cool if there was a cavalry charge add-on. If you are on a horse and charged someone they would tumble and take damage. If the other player had the pike weapon equipped the horse would be damaged. I could do this if only I knew how to detect collision.

Yup, another RPG mod. I originally started working on this 3 months ago but stopped because I had no clue what to do next. I re started it and now I have a bit of it working. I mainly decided to whip this together for my Colony RP server.



Features
  • Leveling system
  • Money system
  • Classes
  • Resources
  • Ammo for ranged weapons
  • Special, unique things for each class.
  • Reputation system
So far what is done:
I have a leveling system where you get XP for killing AI and other players. When you get enough XP you level up. Once you level up, the XP required for the next level increases as well.

I have a class system where you type /class classname and you choose your class.

I have a resource GUI done

The ammo system is pretty much done, I just need some help
