We could do it with Rot's zombie mod. But a custom AI system would be better. Maybe using Rot's as a reference.

so instead of 8 controllers you want 2 controllers and 6 pikmin, 3 to each side, seems a little small...
You could always have AI pikmin as well. WHo says it HAS to be eight. If your server can hold it, you can have around 28 people there. I think the idea of tons of controllers just leads to the guy that just joins the server being killed by everyone else.

In Pikmin 2 you can have a war between pikmin, you can trow pikmin on to the other person and they attack them, and also the pikmin kill eachother.
Yes, but a war between 8 teams of pikmin is a bit overboard. If there were to be Pikmin wars, a TDM gamemode would be cool. Two teams. The team's leader would be the person controlling the Pikmin players. Then they would battle it out. To win you either kill the leader or kill all the pikmin.

War between players?
Well a player war ruins the whole concept of it. No one wants to sit there constantly getting killed due to the fact that everyone else took all the pellets. I thought where everyone is a pikmin and one guy is the leader would be cool. The leader can throw the pikmin and such. But the players would be in charge of their fighting style.

I agree. Players being the Pikmin would cause tons of displacement, half of them prolly wouldn't listen. But, human players could come in handy during combat.
But then what? A server full of like 8 people all wanting the pikmin for themself. I see that if players were Pikmin, alot more teamwork would be required. One player would be the leader which could be a human player and they would control the pikmin. I don't see how multiple leaders would work.

Well you just ignored the post above, so I figured I would ask in a different way.
And pelase, I don't like making a model to find that it's useless, what would you like to be modeled.
We could use any type of creature that would fit with Pikmin. Even if it is not from Pikmin. I can add the armatures and stuff.

Make a pikmin playertype and i shall love you! I'll help with a map for the mod and thats about all I can do.
A forest of hope map would be win. If you were to make a map, put invisible boundaries around it to keep people from glitching out. If you were thinking of a huge landscape, that would be cool too. As I always like taking things farther. I will be making snow bulborbs and other various creatures for this as well.

Well, this is Blockland. An exact replica of Pikmin would not work out at all. One idea would be to use the TDM support and make it so the leader is like Olimar. Pikmin near him can be thrown and such. The problem with that is that whenever "olimar" does something the Pikmin do not like, they will be pricks and not listen, throw a rage, basically a repeat of the City RP jailing in a way. Making it hard o one guy just because he did something someone else didn't like.

Well, 1000 Olimar's wouldn't make sense. Everyone would just fight over the pellets.
