I am crudely bored with my collection of video games. I now have enough money to get a new one and would like to purchase one. If you can think of any games that you think I might like, please recommend it to me. It can be any game for Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii.
Right now I'm really considering Read Dead Redemption.

I just got back from an awesome trip in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I did a lot of fun things including going in the world's biggest natural hot spring :o and so I thought I might make this thread.

My mom rented a random movie called moon. I read the back and it sounded really boring but I decided to watch it anyway. My assumption was wrong, this movie is great!
Basically it's about a guy that works on the moon to harvest some form of energy (this is some time in the future) and his only company is a talking robot and pre-recorded videos from his wife, daughter, and employers via satellite.
Now before you make the same mistake I made by assuming this sounds horrible, there's a huge twist around the middle of the movie that I don't want to give away.
Anyways, if you've seen the movie, discuss, if not, see it.

My friend showed me this guy on YouTube. He's an interesting character and he makes these awesome songs that you can buy on iTunes. And obviously he does this all on his own and a lot of it on his keyboard. Anyways, just thought I would share him with you guys.

Off Topic / Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking

Has anyone watched this show on Discovery channel? It's loving crazy. Stephen Hawking talks about his beliefs about aliens and time travel. On the last show he came up with two proven ways to travel into the future. (Although they are quite impossible). I would explain them but my fingers would probably die of typing.

Games / Metro 2033

I rented this game the other day and so far I'm really liking it.
It's based off of some book, but anyway it's about Russia in the year 2033 after a post-apocalyptic war. The land is covered with gas and toxins so people have taken refuge in subways. There are also monsters, that I'm guessing are the way they are because of radiation.
The game has a really good sense of survival and desperation because you're constantly running low on ammo, which is also the form of currency in the subway stations. You can use bullets to buy new weapons, weapon upgrades, and better or worse bullets.
Sometimes you have to go on the surface and wear a gas mask and keep track of how many filters you have, and your mask can even get damaged and cracked which causes for a really annoying gash all the way across your screen.
The human enemy AIs in the game are extremely stupid and annoying in the game.
I don't recommend buying it, but it's definitely worth a rent.
