For those of you who aren't familiar with LEGO Dimensions, it is The LEGO Group's (and Warner Brothers') take on Skylanders.

You can see Gremlins, Sonic the Hedgehog, Teen Titans Go and a few others in their latest trailer.

Here are a few images courtesy of Brickset:

Other franchises include:
The Goonies
E.T.
Knight Rider
The Powerpuff Girls
Beetlejuice
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Harry Potter prequel)

Franchise overload or what?

I had high hopes for it, but half of me anticipates badness, while the other half anticipates goodness. Maybe I should reconcile the two feelings by anticipating mediocrity.

This is the first rap battle video I've seen that is legitimately bad.

All the others ranged from amazing to mediocre.

I live near Lake Placid, which is where the 1980 winter olympics were held.  They still use most of the venues for recreational activities and minor league hockey events.

Seen any monster crocs by any chance?

On a serious note, I can see where Tony is coming from, and I agree with his sentiment that we need to invest in space travel.
With regards to the Olympics, it is to athletes what the Nobel Prizes are to scientists. It gives athletes something to look forward to and strive for.  There is a craving for athletic competition within our genetic code, as exemplified by the masses who watch sports but don't play them. Sports will always have a place in our civilization, even if it can be construed as wasteful.

Cactus meat? Sure. I read this guy's review of canned cactus.

Raw cactus? With needles? No, I'd rather post yet another generic "do x or eat y" thread.

I hate everything

There is a reason this was drawn: I Hate Everything did a segment on deviantArt where he ripped on this drawing of a pregnant Master Chief (you read that right), and caused a commotion.

I find it tacky when a character is killed off, then brought back to life.

They killed Superman, then planned on killing the rest of the League as a cheap gimmick to sell more comics, but then had to backtrack their stupid idea.

This happens in television as well, but certain exceptions don't bother me as much.

Depends on the cutscene.

For example, if I'm talking to adventure guy about the Lovecraftian threat menacing the world, a brooding dark piano melody would play.

If it's a quick quest-related info dump the music of whatever zone he or she is in would be used.

It's not bad, it feels fresh with the setting of Fransokyo, but it's underwhelming unless it's your first superhero movie.

You may lose suspension of disbelief in the second act.

HUZZAH

This gives a whole new meaning to the word 'babysitter'.

I can't believe this episode was a thing.

Let's take a look at some recent Mass Effect fanart:

(Speaking of Mass you won't believe how much Tali vore/stuffing/fat there is.)

And last but not least, the highest quality piece:

Because it's not deviantArt without Sonic (or Shadow).

Theme aside, this is good art. The artist could definitely carve a career.
