Added an "expansion bay" to the signature. Now there is a signature within a signature. Err, a signature withing the original si- forget it, it looks cool.

NOTICE: Some people may point out that the line on the right is thicker in the signature. This is because of the Miga Effect, users viewing it on a 4:3 monitor will see a thicker line. Users with a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor will see a seamless line.

Discuss awesomeness of the signature space.

Interesting.

HP's attempt at making PC's seem like cars... they call their products "Luxury" computers. They currently only have two products, the Envy 133 laptop (I'm assuming it's powerful) and the Firebird gaming desktop, which is built by HP but has "Voodoo DNA".

Again, interesting. I want to say that they are going to be overpriced and stuffty but I can't get my eyes off of that Envy. The desktop looks awesome as well.

Games / Can't recall the name of a game...

It was a 2D side-scroller game that was multiplayer-only for PC, it was freeware and the characters all looked like different variations of kirby. You could gather weapons and play capture the flag n' such.

Anyone remember the name of this game?

Off Topic / So my friend, from like, childhood, is now a professional photographer

A friend of mine named Josh Mahoney used to go to my school. I was in the same grade as his sister, Emily, at the time and him and I were pretty cool at the time. the last I saw him was 9th grade and he had been getting into grunge music. I think we just kinda drifted apart.

A few days later I'm talking to Emily, just catching up n' such, and notice that her profile picture had a tiny logo and URL in the bottom of it. it said "2010|IAMJOSHMAHONEY.COM". wide eyes followed by a "holy forget" reaction.

His website makes me pee my pants.

This is my current network setup that my dad built. He's insane.



These are all wafers with pigtails (copper ethernet cables) and they all transfer into a network hub, then into our 2WIRE router.


It's a really efficient way of having wired and wireless internet throughout the entire house.

My dad bought a digital photo frame today. We noticed that the manual and documentation is all VERY loosely translated from Chinese or Japanese, so there are a few funny mistakes this like talking you !!

My dad was reading the manual and went to the last page. He nearly pissed his pants laughing at Instruction 3.2 In Chapter 3 of the manual, on the very last page. Specifically the title of that instruction.

Off Topic / Sound Blaster Audigy 2 VS Stock RealTek Audio Output...?

My sister's boyfriend gave me a computer with a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 in it.

I'm wondering if it would be a better decision to use the Audigy card or just keep using my onboard audio output.

My ordinary audio output has the usual 6.1/7.1 surround support. The card has the same. I just don't know about quality.

Off Topic / Original Steam message sound

Because I can't stand the stupid spaceship noise you can barely hear over loud games, I went looking and figured out how to get the old steam message sound back.

Here are the steps:

• Download the old sound. [Right click - Save as]
  
• Go to Steam/Friends. (C:\Program Files\Steam\friends or similar)
• Replace message.wav with the file you downloaded.
• Set it to “Only read”, or “Read Only” in the file properties. (Right click > Properties > Check "read only")

Now restart Steam, with your new message.wav in place. If you don’t set the message.wav as read only, Steam will overwrite message.wav with the new sound.
