Just out of curiosity.

I have decided to switch from using iTunes to Songbird, because it just seems nicer.

What do you use?

It's a GRiD 1755. It ran Windows 3.1/DOS 6.1, has a monochrome screen, 4 MB of RAM and an 80 MB hard disc.

It's awesome.

Off Topic / AMD Athlon II X2 240 vs Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200? [SOLVED]
« on: November 08, 2012, 11:33:27 AM »
I've got a motherboard and processor here from a newer PC (AMD Athlon II X2 240 (rev. C3)) along with the one I have now which is a Core 2 Quad Q8200 which appears to be garbage.

Should I stick with what I have or should I swap out for the AMD?

DealExtreme Megathread

What is DealExtreme?

DealExtreme is a organization based in Hong Kong that sells Chinese products (aka everything we have in North America) for extraordinarily low prices. Their way of selling them for less expensive is by putting their own brand name on products that would have normally been sold under a brand name, like Beats headphones. Alot of their products are made in Hong Kong and sold directly from their warehouses in either HK, or in the new warehouses in the US and UK. They also provide free shipping for any purchase, from Hong Kong it usually takes about 3 weeks, but in the US or UK it can arrive in 3 days or more.

This is a scam, right?

Not a scam at all. I purchased two LED watches from this website to prove it. They took 3 weeks each to arrive because I live in Canada. Here they are, sitting on my old ChairDesk. The blue one I still have, and the black/red watch was purchased for forums user and long time ass-friend TomTheGeek.

Examples of products that are cheaper than their officials

"LINES" Unique Japanese LED 27 Wrist Watch

ORIGINAL PRICE - $169.00 USD (+ SHIPPING)

More comparisons to come soon

DEALEXTREME PRICE - $19.99 USD

What to do in this thread

Post URLs of awesome products that you think the forums might like from DX.com. You may also post photos of things you bought and reviews of them.

Go, forums!

Try it out in your city if you have coverage. It's fantastic, actually.

Here's my house. Mind the quality, that was paint.NET's fault

I just took some photos with my Galaxy Nexus, using the 360° Panorama mode that's exclusive to Android 4.2 Jellybean. Click them for full size.

The neat thing is though, on the phone itself, it lets you view these panoramas in a sort of Google Street view mode where you literally view them as if you're standing in that location and panning around. It's brilliant!

You can download the leaked APKs as flashable ZIP files from XDA here. The Panorama Camera is compatible with any android phone with a Gyroscope built in (Most high-end droids have this, the Nexus series for sure)

Google+, Google Maps, Picasa, and Google Earth all support viewing the photos in 3D mode, and upon 4.2's release, Facebook will support it, as well as any other website using the Google Maps API.

More info and 3D Panoramas taken with Android 4.2 here!

Sorry Apple. I think we've won.

They're Dachshunds. 8 weeks old. :3

We're getting them on Sunday. The brown one we've named Eddie (probably) and the black and tan one is named Beatrice.
