Off Topic / Re: Captial punishment, good or bad?

oh also quit using the "texans execute everyone" stereotype, the state has executed 1,244 people since 1819 which is just as many deaths as chicago has in murders in 2 years

Those 2 figures are completely irrelevant to each other.

Having the death sentence doesn't do jack stuff to stop crime. Increasing punishment doesn't solve the problem of why there is so much crime. Are criminal system should be about rehabilitation not just pure punishment. It works pretty good for European countires but people seem to ignore that.

yeah this
That sounds really cool, I wish I had multiple monitors :(

It sucks because the minimap is all the way in the left, which is about a foot from where I'm normally looking. I wish the FOV could be set higher too.

Alright, but can anyone explain why its better?

I'm basing it off of benchmarks. A 3570k benchmarks better than the amd cpu, at least from what I have seen. The architecture for intel seems to be way ahead of amd right now, the new architecture for AMD seems to be a bit of a flop.

2735
Maybe, although Intel CPUS are good, sometimes they can be overpriced and most of them are over rated.

an i5 3570k is like 20 dollars more.

Quoting because pagelost due to The Kandalf.

An i5 3570k would be better from what I've seen.

I just played it on 3 monitors, it was pretty cool though looking at the mini map was a bitch. I hope I get used to it soon because it looks really cool.

My xfx monitor stand came today, and I hooked up my 3 24" monitors and its pretty bangin. Getting the monitors lined up perfect is a bitch though. Also the stand puts the monitors a little to in my face. I'll get some pics after I get it all set up and lookin pretty.

About the Kandalf: Looks meh. I don't like the design and color scheme. Inside should've been black, imo.

It looks like its from 2005.

Here's a source. I admit that I don't know how reliable it is, but basically everything is better than anecdotal evidence, so...

No point in arguing with him, he's already ignored science. God is great and sinners always choose to sin.

Balls. Guess I'll just try to get another 1600 x 900.
Thanks for all the help.

Stretching a game on two screens isn't going to look good regardless of any other factor.

I'm actually Wynd Fox. Night Fox was also taught he'd burn in Hell, though. Maybe we'll burn together!

Oh lol, whoops. I saw fox in the name and I don't know why but automatically thought Night Fox.

Faith is faith, and there are many many parts of any religion.
Catholocism is exceedingly complex, like all major religions.
It's very likely that there are parts you absolutely agree on and disagree on.

If everyone left all religions whenever there was a single thing they didn't agree on, there would be no organised religions at all.

Not to mention, Pope's are elected and are individual people.
They have different personal opinions. You can't expect every catholic to have the same opinion on everything as each new and different Pope that comes along.

Well Night Fox is a homoloveual, according to a majority of the Catholic religion he's going to hell. I feel like that's a pretty major grievance. It would make sense to leave a religion if you had major issues with their doctrine, which quite a few people have.

no he thinks that gay marriage is "morally wrong" and how its not included in our "god given rights"

It's not possible. I imagine he believes it's bad because of religion. Which ignores all logic and reason.

I meant baptized Catholic, I don't follow the faith at all.

I was baptized Catholic, and haven't officially revoked my baptism. I don't identify as Catholic, though. Mostly because I don't believe in a god and disagree with many of their moral viewpoints.

how the forget do i prove to him why gays should be able to marriage

The Pope makes me sad to be Catholic.

I don't get this. If you disagree with many aspects of a religion, why are you still part of it?
