The common theme of the suggested actions is that both Menen and Verton shall attack the spiders. (oh wait now i remember why I didnt take numbers for rolls....) Ok forget numbers.

You shoot two spiders with your crossbow, killing them both. They turn into smoke, and the smoke reforms into green orbs. Behind you, you can hear Verton and the sound of a spider burning alive. The fog begins to clear up...

The spider has been reduced to ash, and two green orbs rise from it. The red Ghost Verton stands over one of the Channels in the ground. Jocelyn is getting closer.
Jocelyn condenses purple energy into a whip and lashes out at Verton, but Verton's armor turns purple and blocks the attack!

Ive read the word "got" enough times in this thread to realize that is just doesn't look right to me.
But yeah. You can't really replace "Got" with anything without it not being able to flow properly. Some words in some sentences will work, but most will sound strange.
