Was bored, so I made a teacup, also practice for things like DOF and vignette. Made in about 30mins of playing around, could probably do it a lot faster if I knew what I wanted to make from the beginning.

I have a problem with the Gatling gun posted a while back.
Why is the gear that goes from the ammo to the barrel smaller than the other?

For one the thing on the side isn't ammo, its a small motor used to spin the barrels, and two, its called mechanical advantage.

I've never really messed with the mist in 2.6, I'll have to try it out.

FYI I didn't use mist for that render, Just a single light source in Cycles.

No, it isn't a huge plane, the trick is to make sure there is no environment lighting/AO, and have a black world.

and does anyone have a clue as to WHY colorshift is affecting certain faces of the model that arent blank.png
I have had this problem before, from memory, to fix it you need to separate any colour that isn't to be shifted, into its own object. Assuming you are using blender that is.

If you needed to know how to get notepad, I really don't think you will have much of a chance in learning Torquescript, but if you really are committed to learning, I would suggest you start by changing variables within the default weapons and vehicles. Once you build up a knowledge of what each thing does, you can start to look at creating you own functions. I wouldn't recommend that you start making your own models until you know how code their functions, unless you already have a knowledge of 3D modeling. Although judging from what you have said, I don't think you do.

odd, it started hiding my faces once I got up to the 15k range
There is a limit per object in the blender dts exporter, but that can be overcome by splitting it to multiple objects.

It helps a lot of you do wireframes like this. Yes this was the only model I've made I found with Google that had wireframes.

I did think of doing it like that, but when he asked for a wireframe, I wasn't entirely sure what he was after.
