Made a character:

Name: Henry
Personality: Pretty smart dude, albeit pretty sloppy. Can figure out problems really fast but seems to always lose track of what he was thinking of because he's so scatterbrained. He's a sloppy dude but he takes his hygiene seriously (so his clothes are ruffled/whatever but he doesn't smell like crap). He likes to break things when he's bored and fixes stuff when he's upset. He also likes drafting (like drawing pictures and stuff)

Here's the emotions/faces:

With black BG:

Put your hand in the hole in the tree? Seems like the least dangerous idea possible!

Perhaps it's been turned off for the moment while he resolves some things?

Then what?

Then what?

I assumed the proper procedure was to salt the password with data from both the client and server and then hash the password using something like scrypt with the data appended to it

They're stored in the database as a hash I can't decode. If you don't trust me, just don't use a personal password.
Hash it on the client.

Sleep?
I still have to study ;)
Such is the beauty of procrastinating from procrastinating as it's always followed by an extra serving of procrastination.

I'm working on my circuits as I type though sooo... I still want to hear your responses.

Off Topic / Longest thing you could give me to procrastinate
« on: November 15, 2013, 12:35:49 AM »
I have a test tomorrow, it's 1:30am.
I thought a cool topic idea would be to see who can give me the thing that would take me the longest to do to procrastinate ( I won't do it, Im just curious)

Just because this would really be easy if anything went there's a few rules.

1) You have to submit a link. Therefore, it must be on the internet.
2) It has to be mildly interesting, addictive, or engaging. A 10 hour version of "HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA" doesn't count.
3) There has to be content to make it take time. It can't be like "Click this link and wait for 10 hours for the words to come up" or "Surf this forums for 10 hours"
4) Actually try to post something interesting, don't try to find loophole. Spirit of the rules, not the letter :)

Yours is better
Different explanations are worded for different people. It isn't really who's is better but that hopefully he'll be able to learn from either one of the two.

Modification Help / Re: Modulo of negative numbers
« on: November 11, 2013, 01:45:37 AM »
3 % -1 = 2
Blockland gives 3
Windows Calculator gives 0
Wolfram Alpha gives 0

What exactly was that post for though?

Modification Help / Modulo of negative numbers
« on: November 11, 2013, 01:43:51 AM »
(Blockland) 3 % -2 gives 3
(Windows calculator) 3 mod -2 gives 1
(Wolfram Alpha) 3 mod -2 gives -1

Which is right?
And can someone explain modulous with the second operand being negative to me?

General Discussion / Re: General Opinions on Private add-ons?
« on: November 06, 2013, 02:56:43 PM »
I will define the difference between personal and private add-ons now:

1. Personal Add-Ons: Made specifically for you and your server to give your server a unique draw for players.

2. Private Add-Ons: Made and then only given to friends of the person who made the add-on or clan members.

I think it's fine to have unreleased add-ons to increase the appeal of your server but when you just make an add-on and then hand it around to all your little buddies and tell everyone else to get lost I think you're doing a disservice to them and the community and there's really no justification for it.
This is exactly what I was just about to say. Thanks for posting this, a great description.
