It's impossible for your car to be spinning while being pushed by the semi. It would either be pushed directly forward without rotation or rotate quickly to one side and the truck would continue onward.

Semicolons. I love em.
They are used to separate two independent clauses of the same idea into one sentence.
Example: No one was seriously hurt in the accident; one man suffered a broken finger.
If you only use a comma instead of a semicolon, it is considered a comma splice.
Bad example: No one was seriously hurt in the accident, one man suffered a broken finger.
It is also correct to use a comma and a coordinating conjunction such as: No one was seriously hurt in the accident, but one man suffered a broken finger.
