Eh, my definition of near-death would be that you could've died or did die but was revived.
Basically did die but was revived.
One time, I got in a terrible car crash.
We ran into a tree, and the windshield's glass flew to me and hit me in the chest.
Nailed me in the heart.
I could feel my soul leaving, it was really weird feeling.

that, up above, is what I'm looking for. Love ya for understanding me. Btw, do you know this show called "I Survived...Beyond and Back"?

Please people, pay attention to this post:
Ok, what I mean is like for example, if I was riding on a motorcycle, and I see a truck infront of me thats backing up, and it doesnt see me, and then I throw the motorcycle away and slide on the ground to try to stop myself, but I cant. I finally slide up under the wheel of the truck. I feel my ribs just CRACK. In a few minutes, I'm just COMPLETELY dead. But, after the paramedics fix me up, I'll live again. For a better description, go to http://www.biography.com/isurvived/ and try to learn what the stories are.

Near death actually means you're about to die.

you should rename it "i survived moments" or something.

Once i was sitting on a horizontal pole, under the stairs in my apartment complex. i was talking with my friend(yeah i was lonely) then suddenly, OHforget i fell backwards and busted my loving head on the ground. hospital for a few days.

I know somebody who goes to my kung fu class who has gotten run over 7 times, smashed by a telephone
pole, stabbed 2 times in the stomach, electricuted, tossed across the room (prior to electricution), and shattered his knee when stretching. he is like 40. Im not making any of this up. he is jesus
You know what, I'm just gonna name it "death" experiences or something.

Few inches from getting ran over by a cop when I was on my bike.
Lol.
I could have died so it's near-death!1!! :cookieMonster:
Doesn't count.
He means like you had a heart attack and you were saved 2 seconds before you died.
Omg...

I nearly got impaled by a Forklift.

The prongs broke my collar bone (it hurt like everything painful) and sliced open my shoulder. I stayed in a hospital for a very long time.
All the driver could do was say he was sorry. :x
Were you badly injured or did you die?
