oh cool you guys finished the interior. funny, i thought this was the phantom.

quite delicious indeed, sirs.

It was going to be the phantom however with my sudden urge to build a submarine next; Phantom seemed to fit a submarine more than a warship.

An OceanCo Clan Build

Ladies and Gentleman I present to you the Audacious-class Global Combat Ship.
The LWS Audacious is the most advanced warship in the OCNC fleet.
The LWS Audacious is a highly capable multirole warship designed for: Anti-Submarine Warfare, Air Defence, Naval Warfare, Off-shore land strikes and general purpose patrols.

Weapons Systems

16+ Tomahawk Block IV Cruise Missiles
1 4.5” Mark 8 Naval Gun
3 Phalanx CIWS
2 General purpose machine guns (GPMG’s)
8+ Spearfish Torcreeps

I know there aren't parts which are great, I lost interest recently due to being so excited over beginning the next project of the Phantom-Class Attack Submarine

Suggestions & Requests / [Forums] Clan Accounts
« on: September 14, 2011, 11:36:55 AM »
This idea I managed to think up from the depths of my head; the idea is of Forum Accounts of successful clans (Only the clan leader/co-leader).

The accounts can be named something along the lines of BANacc, or OCNCacc. These accounts will make it easier for clans to be managed and updated regularly as well as cutting down on the multiple posting of the same clan.

To prevent these accounts from being misused Badspot could issue clans with a "Registration Key" which can't be used ingame however can be used to unlock the Clan Discussion section of the forums. Much like when you havn't registered your Blockland Key to the forum or havn't logged in you have limited access to the areas of: Off-topic, Help, etc. This "Registration key will not unlock all the forums but only the default unrestricted and Clan discussion.

In addition this would allow clans to be easily managed and passed over ownership. If the topic owner is away on Holiday or not online and you need to update the topic with important news you simply log-on to the clan account and edit the topic.
The same method works for changing ownership, the owner will have the passwords to the account and when the ownership is changing the current owner passes over the passwords. This is prevent the exact same/similar topic being posted more then once on the same board.

I feel with the correct precautions such as the "Registration Key" (mentioned above) and the limited access to the unrestricted boards the pro's outweigh the cons as well as assisting the management of clans in the long-run.

Post your thoughts and opinions below, if you think this should be put in place or not.

Hot. Your clan sure builds some lovey ships. Can we expect something bigger soon?

I know StarHawk has already answered this for his Yachts however I am currently working on a Phantom-Class Destroyer, it is roughly twice as big as the LWS Vigilant. You can also find early development photos on the LWS Vigilant topic.

I would like to outline the reasons why we accepted this application; mainly because i'm sure some of you have thought "why".

The reasons being we have recognized some potential in this person and their building skills. We're not like other clans, if they don't quite cut it at the moment we don't piss them off and tell them to try again later.

We will work closely with this person, providing tips and advice on their builds; together we will improve their building skills so they can become a fully functioning member of the clan.

With this said I would like to wrap up by saying, if you don't think you're great at building ships; you don't have to be great. Give it a shot, you never know the outcome.

We really need a ded :c

I can host UK and Europe timezones. StarHawk does USA timezones.
If StarHawk wasn't so sudden with leaving then I could host the latest version of the server.

Three ideas
1. BlockoWorld?
2. I could make Oceanco Prints.
3. Clan HQ could be giant cruise ship
Look forward to joining soon

1. Mind elaborating on that?
2. We have been considering clan prints and will hopefully begin working on them soon. If we can't get it to work then we'll ask.
3. Myself have been having a lot of ideas regarding a clan HQ ship; one of our ideas was a large diplomatic ship.

Thanks for the suggestions and we look forward to your application.

Cause I find this to be very cool! Might app if SSBU allows 2 me to be in two clans

Thanks! I'll harass StarHawk as soon as he comes online about this.

We look forward to your application.

The easiest way to fix up the cannon is to change the ramps to smaller ramps and close up the gaps.

IMO it would provide a more squat cannon-type design rather than a unusually tall one.

If you're going for minigun (or might eventually) then just lower the barrel portion a block or two. I'll try to get a picture of what I'm talking about sometime.

Thanks, i'll give that a shot and hopefully it'll turn out well.

I have also added in where the RIB will be deployed from the port side (left), screenshot is attached below.

For you who can see what I have planned for it, well done and you'll see that it'll be rather interesting. For you who can't tough, you'll have to wait untill the sea-trials video I plan on doing upon completion of the ship.

Is the new ship supposed to have a deployable boat? Otherwise close up that back end with a slightly rounded aft hull.

Also I don't like the cannons (?) because they're so fat. Looks more like a minigun turret. Maybe shorten them and lengthen the barrel a stud or two?

Yes it is, right now i'm in the process of thinking up an interesting and fast method of deploying the RIB. Thats why i've left the back open because i'm still un-sure if i'll have to screw with the structure of the ship to accommodate the rig.

The cannons i've been working on however all methods i've thought up makes my OCD hit the roof with the barrel having to be center. However i'll keep working on it.

I have the flight deck on my next ship done, I am still open to criticism due to it being so early in development.
Please note that the back of the ship will be added so the area where the flight deck meets the ass-end will be extended and mooring lines.
