Damn, I wasn't aware that the button was gone. I just don't play with annoying users, so I never noticed.

Your logic is making absolutely no sense to me. It must be way above my intelligence.

The ignore feature in RTB is there so you can mute annoying people from the chat whom the admin won't kick. Is that not a good enough reason? If I people could just remove all the posts from annoying people, then I think we'd all be better off. We wouldn't have a select few people ruining the forum experience for the others that want to have meaningful conversation.

It sucks because I haven't been able to find a Greasemonkey script for FireFox so I can just implement it myself on my end. Maybe if I look a little harder....

I fixed it now on our side. Ephi deleted some stuff to make room for some 1.05 files on the site. I guess he forgot what some files did, haha.

I'd rather not have to first look at who's posting, then scroll past. I want to just see posts from people I know can post intelligently. Do you want to have 1,000 spam emails in your inbox and then have your email provider tell you to just not look at them? Same thing here. It's annoying, and I don't want to have to scroll past 8 posts just to read something that may or may not be worth looking at in the first place. It's clogging the tubes. :(

I'd just like an ignore button for the forums. That way I can filter all posts by certain people.

I'm assuming that GG has macs that they can test compatibility on at their HQ.

Badspot said he's going to make a brick editor so people can make their own. He also said it shouldn't be a problem when people join a server that has custom bricks or colors. I haven't talked to him about this in a while though, so I don't know if all my info is still up-to-date.

Brand new format that Badspot wrote himself. That's why stuff like odd rotation and stretching isn't in because that all requires extra coding and resources to develop and run in the game.

Don't know if you know this, but bricks in retail aren't .dts. But yeah, I'd love it if my builds would cast shadows.

Everyone should thank Rotondo and kompressor for a doubly good retail. And thank Badspot for the delay. Thank me for reminding you to thank them. :P

Yeah, that's my point. The original intent of this thread is still pretty pointless too.

I can't believe people are trying to debate between Retail, TBG, RTB, TBM, etc. Just lock this thread and let it be done.

We have to have limits somewhere. Lego bricks are fun in the first place because they impose limits that challenge you to create something interesting with limited varieties of pieces to construct with. EW has absolutely ruined Blockland for me, and I hate myself for helping create it. The original goal of just making builds non-laggy has been utterly perverted IMHO. Now builds have crappy stretched textures, they have unlimited details that should never be possible from bricks, and they add stupid expectations to future builds where someone might not want to crap all over the Lego heritage of the game. I hate it when someone says "Why would you stack blocks when you can stretch them! 5/10 because you did too much building and not enough shaping." :(
