I have to wonder how much press the game is going to get when it's released. Hopefully the fact that it was featured on The Screen Savers will help its popularity a bit. I know I'm going to be doing my part to promote it, mostly because I want more people to play with. :D

lolol

Anyways, I just said I didn't think it was worth $20. Then Mocheeze had to make a big ice creamting deal about it and go piss off to everyone. I don't see what the big deal is. I agree with entrepreneur in, its opinion, and in my opinion its not worth $20. Stfu and stop trying to make me shut up.
I was just expressing my opinion too, so that makes us even. I suppose maybe you should have thought about where you were posting your opinion though. This thread was supposed to be positive and congratulatory to Badspot. We should have known that at least one of the spammers of the community would try to ruin it. Meh. See you guys in retail when it's out! Congrats Baddy.

Why is it that people feel the need to come back after being banned? Isn't it embarrassing enough to know that the community has tried to exile you once already, then you come back begging to be let in again? Sad times. :(

Yeah man, we're not pissed, we're just surprised at how dumb your argument style is.

Most of the fun for BL is the community. That's why you hang out on the forums for most of your life.

You have to check your key against the master server's database dude. You can't generate the key on the server side. Nice try though haxxor.

You can't get away with torrenting BL. In order to play with everyone else you have to have a product key and log on to the master server.

--Kaphix--: Do you think blockland is worth $20
»ям«єрidial[A]: I think it's worth -$20
»ям«єрidial[A]: He should be paying me

--Kaphix--: Do you think blockland is worth $20
Mark Madness: Well, since v0001 was on G4, i'm guessing $5
Mark Madness: since some people who watched it probly will add to it's price as they want it

--Kaphix--: Do you think blockland is worth $20
Gen: idk
Gen: idk how much $20 is in
--Kaphix--: 10
Gen: hmm
--Kaphix--: 10.18
Gen: no

Amazing, Kaphix's only 3 friends agree with him. I don't need a survey to prove my point. You can just see how many people buy the game. And guess what Kaphix, retail IS worth $20 to you because you're going to buy it. If it wasn't worth the money for you, then you wouldn't buy it. Simple econ.

I still think it's a lego-style game. I like the building aspect of it. I'm not terribly excited about piecing together a bunch of random objects from source games like HL2 and CS:S. I want to create something new and original with my own style and as the role of a little minifig. I liked legos when I was growing up, so I love the opportunity to build with unlimited pieces and all that jazz. The game is worth what the market will bear, which is going to be $20. Some noobs won't be able to buy online. Too bad. More will be able to buy though because of marketing and the publishing work of GarageGames. I'm yearning for the day when the cheap-ass freeware gamers all go away because they don't want to pay $20 for this great game. Boo-freakin-hoo.

I think $20 is a very reasonable price for an inde game, that's what I'm thinking. I've gotten more play time out of BL than any other game in history. I'd willingly pay $60 for it.

Well, I'll be glad to see some of the major spammers aren't going to be sticking around for $20. That's a load off my shoulders.

BTW, IGN doesn't rate with stars.

Badspot announced the price for retail almost 2 years ago. Don't play dumb.
