Help / Blockland extremely slow on openSUSE

Guess who's giving Linux another try!

Anyway, I just got openSUSE because it looked like it would be 100 times easier to use than Ubuntu (Which it is) And I'm trying to run BL.

I downloaded Wine and transferred Blockland over from my Windows partition, I opened a terminal in the Blockland folder and ran "wine blockland" and it loaded... Except it's lagging to hell. I changed the resolution to 800x600 and it's a bit less laggy, but it's still really jumpy and it took so long to load a server I just hit esc.

My graphics card is all set up and nothing else was running when I tried it.

Creativity / I, Gerald - A comic

I, Gerald is a comic full of bad layouts, stuffty artwork, erratically placed titles, violence, lots of white backgrounds, scarce humor, and annoyingly depressing concepts.

Obviously this stuff storm is being made by me. It will be updated whenever I get inspiration to draw. The name is inspired by none other than Gerald the Duck from <BB> Dedicated.
Go ahead and call the comic/me emo cause I don't care, I'm just here to share it with anyone who might be able to relate. You're probably a richard that doesn't deserve to be argued with anyway.

The comics will be linked because I'm stupid and I make them on a 1680x1050 canvas.

Clan Discussion / <BB> - The Blue Banana's Epic Return (FORUMS LOL)

Blue Banana was a clan that I had started some time ago, during Blockland Retail's early days, as a joke. I started spreading the word of this, "leet" new clan and before I knew it, <BB> already had a legible following.
The original memberlist was as follows:

We all treated each other as family and built nearly every day. However, as time went by, the supporting members started playing less and less until <BB> had come to a fateful end; All that was left was happy memories and a couple of protein stains on the couch. (IceBlue ) <BB> Remained dead for quite some time.
Then, on October 30th, I received a message from R@ND0M (a.k.a IceBlue) asking if the clan was going to stay dead.
I thought about it and I said, "forget that, <BB> is coming back." and thus it was so.

Our new memberlist is as follows:

(A) Build an application and post it in the gallery, it will be reviewed by me and judged by me, if I get stuck on a decision the judgment will be passed onto the clan to decide.
(B) Request an invitation if you are close friends with either me, or IceBlue.

I host the dedicated server so if there's anything serverwise that you don't like or you have a suggestion to change the server somehow, talk to me.

YES, THIS IS A DEMO THAT I WAS WORKING ON, I NOW FEEL IT IS COMPLETE AND IS NOW FREE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS IT, SONGS APPEAR IN THE ORDER THAT THEY DO ON THE CD

They're like deathcore + slamming death metal + groove metal with grindcore vocal work.
If you don't like "screaming music" then don't listen to them, and if you did anyway; don't complain you stupid forget.
These were recording using "Drum Kit From Hell" by Toontrack, if that wasn't descriptive enough; it's a loving drum machine.
Everything was written, recorded and mixed in Reaper.

Off Topic / VH is in Atlanta

So yeah; Me, my sister, my sister's friend and her bf, and my gf are all in Atlanta, GA for Dragoncon.
We left on Thursday and we're coming home on Monday. When I get back I'll post about it and show you guise some pictures. I'm on my sister's friend's bf's laptop (What a mouthful amirite) at the moment so yeah.

It's kickass so far.

I was checking my email like 10 minutes ago and found this letter:

"I have your minifigure. If you want him back alive you'll bring 50,000 in unmarked Blokos to the warehouse off of the boulevard across from the car shop, you know which one I mean. If you notify the authorities you will never see him again."

It's hard to make out, but I can identify that it is indeed him. I logged into Blockland just to be sure and he was indeed gone.

I don't have that kind of money and I don't know what to do. Please help me, I want my minifig back. :(

Just got home, our cat, Basil, has been hit by a car and is dead. Him and our other cat Peter were the only "people" I was able to get along with for 2 years, and now he is gone and will be missed a great deal.
