I boast a little bit about my grades and skipping a grade in math, so I am pretty full of myself in academics. It's not anything serious, as Jess said. Just "Puppy love."

Why does he have to be a parent in order for what he says to be valid? I'm 18, I've got 4 years on you and I've seen enough stuff happen to know that disobeying rules as simple as a dating age is just downright stupid. Grow up some more first before you even think about trying to maintain a relationship, because sneaking around your parents' back obviously shows that you can't even be responsible enough to listen to the ones that gave birth to you.

My parents are way overprotective. I can't hang out for 5 min after school. My mom is all like "WHERE WERE YOU?"

Gasp! They care about you! What horrible, horrible people! I assure you that you'd hate it if your parents didn't give a stuff what you did.
