Any strange noises coming from your HDD when you boot?
Does the affected HDD occasionally seem to 'disappear' from your computer's list of currently installed hard drives in any form or fashion?

You probably hit a bad sector somewhere.

i have a 80gb bad sector ._.

1. your computer crashes more frequently
2. you have problems while installing things
3.CHKDSK starts almost everytime you boot
4. system 32 gets corrupted

this is what happened when my old computer died

Uplay's most likely the problem. I remember trying to install something a while back and the install was corrupted twice in a row because their servers were flickering.

i got it from a cd

edit: i tried to play offline but it forces me to go online
