Wait what.
NVM just get watchdogs. You hack people in Chicago and use stealth and hacking to your advantage, for instance when you're being arrested you can pull out your phone and select a Blackout, which will make the power go out everywhere so you have time to kill the cop who is confused.

Honestly that's one of the features I'm most excited about. I can think of no other game where news media is actively an antagonist.

Also following people into to dark alleys to see what's up with their lives sounds fun.
I love the fact that you can instantly see someone's interests. Like in the demo, they're in the party thing and he sees guys flirting that are HIV positive and stuff.

Detriot's boned, and you can thank their forgetwad citizens for it.

Good luck trying to even fit in when you move there. I'd give a month before you get shot for "looking funny".
> the ghetto is the entire city

Why didn't America spend copious amounts of money to keep every ghost town in the west afloat? Because that's ridiculous.

Detroit was centered around automobile manufacturing, which as everyone can probably tell is no longer a prominent fixture in the U.S. Therefore, you're all seeing the collapse of the largest ghost city perhaps in history.
GM still exists in there. There's a problem with the government.
How about I give you this

yes as the point has been given to you many times already. if the city cant sustain itself, then let it die. when others pick up the burdan (as they have already tried and failed) it just creates more dept and no success anyways.

forget detroit. there are far more cities that need to watch their budgets, why drag them down to save 1.

this is reality. why else are they letting it fail like this lol. they clearly are going with my plan.
We need to save detroit because it actually happened, it already tanked.

you make a whole OP about how bad Detroit is and then you say you want to move there.
what is your major malfunction?
Not a major malfunction. I want to move to Greektown, but I'm worried about the rest of detroit.
