New York's mayor did that. Not the feds
But detroit's mayor won't do that. So what if the feds did what NYC's mayor did then.

What are you expecting them to do?
Do what they did to New York when NYC was bankrupt.

they should have enough money to pay for that. you know... like how every other city does it.

if they cant afford it, then they cant be a city. welcome to the real world. there isnt magic money from the federal government to pay for everything lol. never was, never will be.
They're bankrupt and in the hole, $20 billion in debt. They don't have money to pay for stuff. Thats why the government needs to help ITS OWN loving PEOPLE and stop getting involved in wars that dont loving affect us.

Why are you worried about detroit so much?
Because it's where I want to move.

Technically Greektown...

It's not the federal government's responsibility, and if it is, it's nowhere near priority. If any government besides the government of Detroit should be involved, it's the county and/or state.
The county state and city are doing jack stuff about it. They spent $25 million they don't have on a transit system nobody wants.

Detroit needs help. The government there is doing nothing to help, so if they're not going to work with them, (which they dont have any money to do, they're $20b in debt) we need to help them work out their problems.

yeah you guys keep saying that. but a subberb is a different city. not a related issue at all.
i mean its cloudy in minneapolis today. but hey, not in chicago. think about it. lol
didnt mean it like it was out of a suburb.

still idk why people think it's a stuffhole
cass and ferry is beautiful, and its surrounded by ghetto

also its the "hip" neighborhood

what
I was just there when I was coming back from Wisconsin.
It looked fine to me.
There were no flights that went directly to wisconsin, so we had to stop at detroit and take another plane.
So I was there 2 times. It looked fine.
you can't judge a city based on what you've seen.

have you looked at all at detroit as it is today? there are good neighborhoods, but mostly in the suburbs.
