If any government besides the government of Detroit should be involved, it's the county and/or state.The county state and city are doing jack stuff about it. They spent $25 million they don't have on a transit system nobody wants.

Detroit needs help. The government there is doing nothing to help, so if they're not going to work with them, (which they dont have any money to do, they're $20b in debt) we need to help them work out their problems.

I was just there when I was coming back from Wisconsin.
It looked fine to me.
There were no flights that went directly to wisconsin, so we had to stop at detroit and take another plane.
So I was there 2 times. It looked fine.
have you looked at all at detroit as it is today? there are good neighborhoods, but mostly in the suburbs.
