Can't you set your port to the default? (28000)

Anyway, maybe try to use 'connect to IP' and enter 127.0.0.1 or 127.0.0.1:30000 or 127.0.0.1:52527
Otherwise it may have something to do with your firewall, so try to disable that.

I also notice that the port it tries to punch is 52527, not 30000

Don't really know where to go from here, since splitting it up into segments would just be Mod-terrain, and the size of this map exceeds the .blb limit. I don't Have a clue about static objects, or where a tutorial might be, or anyone with knowledge of this for that matter. So this topic is at a stand still until someone continues looking into this, i cannot work further on this with out sufficient knowledge on a work around.
It doesn't take any advanced knowledge to work with static shapes. They're pretty much the most basic type of 3D objects you have, other than TSStatic objects.

I know you are probably very busy with what other projects you have running, but you seem to have the sufficient knowledge to help A.P.X.
Could you please spare some time and help this poor man?
Maybe just find some manual so he can help himself.

people happen to enjoy weapons from other games. it gives blockland more VARIETY. also, he didn't say he NEEDED them, he WANTS them.
More variety? Please, a different model and different damage does not make 'more variety'.
Use one of the already existing, slap an other name on them and you wouldn't even notice.

now, just because someone wants a loving weapon pack doesn't mean they're trying to copy the game itself.
Then use one that already exists!!! The difference between them is minimal.


Oh and way to delete an important sentence from my quote:

I doubt Badspot is going to implement this in any way.
The current event system still works great and it has already many addons.
Redoing the event system means redoing all those addons.
It also means redoing all and every save with events.
So nope, that is not going to happen.

Sure, the event system needs an update.
A previous thread had some neat ideas expanding on the current system.

Events are used to quickly add some small programming code into a save.
If you want to go more complex, make a script.

plus I suck at scripting and programming unless it's something visual or tangible, but maybe that's just me.
"no syntax necessary" is what I like to say. Just logic.
Well that is your problem, not the problem of the community or Badspot.
Make an addon that does all this and use it yourself.

It is not like we have an abundance of realistic gun packs...

This community will probably make an new one despite having too many.
It is easier to copy than to come up with something original.
Doubt it will be of a CoD game.

Going to copy CoD to Blockland? Just use one of the other packs then, do you really need to exact stats?

You mean mass... I don't think there is a density variable in the player datablock class..
Yeah, this was from the top of my head, I do indeed mean mass.
I don't know if it inflicts with anything else, thought.
It could be that if the mass is increased, the player isn't able to jump high enough anymore.
In that case you'll need to increase the jumpforce and maybe also the runforce.

If you add a very high drag to the playertype, it can not move in water.
If you add a high density, it will sink to the bottom.

Ah thats right, I was thinking of the event menu, my mistake.
Weird how Badspot has implemented it there but not on the brick menu.
Probably because the event menu is much more recent.

You should make the window itself resizable.
The window is already reseizable from default.
Just drag the right bottom corner, it is kinda awkward but it works.
