What was probably the biggest repository of hentai and non-hentai doujins is now dead. Two decades worth of images and galleries have vanished from this earth, including now impossible to find stuff from the 80's and 90's. People have compared this loss to the burning of the Library of Alexandria.
Reasons as to why it went down include rumors of new legislation against loli/shotacon in the Netherlands (where the server was hosted), Article 13 being passed in the EU causing all the copyrighted material to be illegal, and the head admin, Tenboro just not wanting to host it anymore. People were given twelve hours to save what they can, and then the site vanished with its hundreds of terabytes of content. This was the site Ex-hentai, the hidden and unfiltered version of E-hentai which will also go down in about six months. Many other hentai sites were just mirrors of what was posted between these two websites, nHentai being one example. It only used a bot to download and re-upload content from the two sites, and has never allowed directly uploading to the site.
Let this be a lesson to back up and download what you like, because digital information is easy to lose. Two decades of archival rested on the shoulders of one man, and he could no longer bear the weight.

Off Topic / How should I combine Ninjas with Aboriginals?

I'm trying to write a thing, and I've decided that I want a secret organization of ninjas that worship an extra-dimensional being to set up an outpost in Australia and induct the Aboriginal population into their ranks. I've only been having problems deciding what the final result of such a union should be. Ninjas with throwing spears? Ninjas with boomerangs? Abbos with katanas and kimonos? Any idea is welcome, no matter how absurd.

Yo, are you okay with me using your user name as the name of an evil AI in some fiction that will probably never get published? I just couldn't stop thinking about the name one day and just turned it into a skynet-esque omnipotent and sentient computer virus that's trying to take over the world by allying with some of the most destructive individuals to sow chaos and reap fear until all bow before its metallic and digital might with the only people that stand a chance at stopping it being a team of expatriated CIA agents.
I know it's just a user-name, but I felt it was still worth asking.

Forum Games / BloXCOM 2: Operation Hell King

Welcome, volunteers, rebels, ex-military, and political prisoners. Welcome, to the newest front against the alien threat that has enslaved the earth. Don your red kevlar vests, and get comfy, this is gonna be a long war. But first, where is the rebel base? We need a place to start from, and we've got a few options on where to go. Should we start in Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, or North America?
If you want to join, post what your soldier's name will be, along with race, country of origin, backstory (optional), class, and gender. Also post what you'd prefer your dude to look like. I'll download whatever cosmetics mod is compatible with LW.
If it wasn't clear enough, I'm going to play XCOM 2 and use forumers as the poor dudes that are gonna get tentacle raped by the ayys. I'll be playing on Normal with the Long War mod, so there will be plenty of opportunities for death and glory amongst the squads. Feel free to suggest strategies! I haven't played this game in a few months, so it'll likely be a rocky start.

I have some decorations, or "warnings" that I want to put up, but I'm unsure whether it's legal or not. Anyone know who I'd have to ask, regarding this? There's no HOA for my neighborhood, btw.
I want to string up vermin skulls on spikes along the edge of the property to ward off any potential garden intruders, but I'm not sure if that'll just earn me a cop knocking on my door or not.

FYI: The kid buys coke from his dad and is also doing meth. The guy's a tall, skinny pusillanimous individual baby that got butt-hurt after he lost a fight in The Compound and then started carrying a gun.
I didn't even know about this until I got home and my parents asked me about it, because the school had called them. I guess they didn't tell any students because they didn't want them to panic.

Okay guys, I jokingly had my future divined by online tarot cards, and on the bit of the celtic cross that's supposed to represent my future, I drew the ten of swords. Now the image on the card ain't no loving joke. It's a brother getting stabbed by ten swords. It's supposed to represent "an unavoidable end, mortality, ruin, and ultimately a new hope." Now, that's a pretty scary card to pull for your future, but it's all fake stuff right? I think I also pulled another card that read something like "You will have a time of momentary respite, enjoy it while it lasts"
Well, two days later, I have a super depressed friend talking about killing themselves. This freaked me right the forget out, not only because I have a friend threatening to end themselves, but also because I just drew a card that's supposed to predict "an UNAVOIDABLE end" and "mortality." So now I'm wondering what the hell to do, aside from be a friend and talk to them. I'm a bit shaken right now because I have a friend saying that they're gonna kill themselves, and a card confirming it like, "yep, she ain't joking"
Have you guys ever had any divinations that came true? Like crystal ball stuff or something? I mean, sure it could be pure coincidence, but holy stuff what a coincidence.
