I get weird cyst-like growths on my elbows almost yearly, they're officially called "Molluskoid Pseudo-Tumors" but aren't related to cancer at all. They're a result of my body not being able to properly break down collagen and elastin, so when micro-injuries occur in my elbows (by bumping them or scraping them, like what happens to anyone) then it will instead be expelled through my flesh in unsightly, painful, and often pus-filled growths that can reach almost an inch in diameter before bursting on its own, leaving a cavern-like cavity in my arm that shrinks and heals and scars over the next week or so, to lie dormant until sometime next year. Because of this, I have some real ugly scars on my elbows that I'm pretty self-conscious about so I always wear long sleeves despite living in Florida where it's been 95+ degrees every day since February. Medicine or surgery can't fix it, it's just another symptom of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic defect that my doctor thinks might also be the cause of my Glaucoma, which will make me blind around 20-50 years from now.

The communities of other, much more impressive block games have petered out fairly quickly. What makes you think yours will be any different?

On a side note, anyone remember Block N Load? I miss that game, but it's super dead now.

Yeah that's why I prefer the classic X-COM: UFO DEFENSE to the newer stuff. Mods for UFO Defense are pretty baller, too.

It's not like you need much more than a few determined men with bolt-action rifles and revolvers to do some good work. This bill won't protect them.

jokes aside the people in this thread have enough firearms combined to arm a small militia. have any of you considered forming an insurgency in a war-torn country? a few trained organized soldiers behind those guns and you'd have a pretty lucrative cartel going on. a few ambushes on military checkpoints and some leaflets here and there and CIA would have to start worrying about you.

remember: good terrain can turn an army of 10 into 1000.
A problem with this is that we'd have to learn the language, and most of these war-torn countries already despise westerners. It'd be a lot more work than just showing up with a gun and killing the right people. Ukraine is probably the only exception right now.

Anyway I've been putting off getting Fire Emblem for a few years now, I think I'll finally get a copy it sounds pretty fun when compared to XCOM like that.

Too true, I still wish I had gone with a different option when I was building a gun. I'm just saving now for a decent hunting rifle.

Florida generally has good fishing in terms of both fresh and salt water. Personally, I prefer the freshwater fishing and seeing what monsters you can find out in the Everglades. You’ll find just about anything from gar to panfish, snook, tarpon, cichlids and all sorts of stuff within a 5-10 mile radius.
Ooh, that sounds like a good idea. Everglades are only a few hours south of me so I might just give that a try. Have you ever tried to bag and tag some gator while out there?

i don't understand the gun hobby, like genuinely. could someone kindly explain it to me? collecting stuff is cool, little machines are cool, but is that all there is to it? obviously you can shoot le gun but i get the feeling that the novelty would wear out after a little while.
So I can dare the government into trying to take it from me. On that note, here's a picture of me with my self-built and unmarked Glock 17 from around a year ago.

I hate all Onn products with a passion. It's a stuff in-house brand from Walmart that (in my experience) either doesn't work at all, or stops working after a month.

It is a 30. My mortgage isn't even that expensive comparatively. I locked in a great rate. I just don't get paid stuff. I got like no savings.
look into post office work, it pays pretty damn well for a government job. Just gotta stay sober.
