Since you're the computer expert around here, you mind finding a Phenom x4 for AM3 on newegg?  I just wanted to be sure I got it for the right socket.  Thanks.

This one is slower at 3GHz, but it has L3 cache so is a better buy, especially if you wish to overclock.

The one I don't recommend you get, is the most expensive one. It's just a power saver one, nothing special, and is downclocked.

Help / Draw Distance

Is there any possible way to increase Draw Distance above its current max in the GUI?
My computer can support it, and I'm working on a build that would be improved dramatically with it higher.

Help / Unable to host.

Hello.

I've had this computer for a year now, and haven't felt like hosting since I had my old computer, where it worked fine. I decided I wanted to get it working to host a server.
I went to my router page, and it reported only one DNS server, whereas I need 2.
So, I pulled up ipconfig /all and that too reported only one DNS server.

When I go to make a server, the error I get is 'Authentication DNS failed'.

I haven't changed anything at all in the router settings while switching computers. My old computer reported 2 DNS servers. I'm not sure how it's even related to the computer when it reports it in the router page, but whatever.

What can I do?
