Add-Ons / Ethan's Color Sets

Just sharing my old color sets, which have been lost in the time warp and various forum archives etc.

Colorset 1 - Architectural



I made this colorset with the aim of creating large cities etc, and opted for various ranges of colors that can be suitable for both inside artificial colours and outside natural colours (the kind of variance you would see in day to day life).

This one was made with a more generic range of colors, for people who aren't really interested in the specific set above.

Is it a DVD-R or a DVD-RW?
If it's a R, as soon as you do /anything/ on it regarding it's data, you are forgeted. Especially if it actually takes space right now.

These are made in Australia as the Holden Commodore and shipped over there branded in numerous different ways (vauxhall, chevrolet, pontiac). Horrid cars. All the cop cars over here are these.

I have 3 Samsung S23B550's. They are great :D and matte screen so no glare + better colour reproduction.

I don't think you've ever set it up like this. It works out really good. It works out way better than having everything straight through my headset. I don't want the music or video I'm listening to be the same volume as the voice.

On top of this my headphones aren't designed to listen to music, they're made for voice. My speakers still sound better than my headset. I have a real setup with a subwoofer and all of that.

It gives out much better sound than the headphones. My headphones don't cancel out all noise or anything, I can still hear everything pretty well. The mic also doesn't pick up anything outside of my voice unless it's really loud.

Well maybe in your situation but I have a noise-cancelling 7.1 surround headset and the noise cancelling works really really good so I wouldn't be able to hear anything played from the speakers, haha.

What are you talking about? I have my games through speakers and voice through my headset. My mic doesn't pick up anything from the speakers and it all sounds good.

That just sounds too xbox-y. All through the headset IMO

By having a soundcard do you mean you have a second one? Because every motherboard comes with a soundcard pretty much. Add on sound cards are also pretty much a huge waste of money. But I like my headsets to have USB so I can have them separate from the normal sound. I would recommend buying a small usb sound card if you don't already have 2 sound cards.

If you have a headset like this, then the money spent on a dedicated sound card is money well spent. It really makes a difference.
