I'm afraid that's not an option which is why I attempted the transplant. Is it OEM?
Her copy of Windows XP came with her old dell which isn't upgradable. First time I really saw a CPU soldered to the motherboard.
Can I install my copy of Windows 7 on her computer or is the key only able to active on one computer at a time?
OEM is one use, retail is 3 use.
