Crash Bandicoot was great before it got to the PS2. I had all the games, 1,2,3 (WARPED!), Bash (possibly favorite) and Team Racing.
Also, get Driver/Driver 2, and something else that I'll remember soon.

You shouldn't run more than one antivirus program, with the exception of malwarebytes or spybot s&d.
Ad aware used to be good a few years ago too.

I did that once
it worked
my brother was playing in the computer he started touching the fan
now the computer overheats
Maybe he unmounted the heatsink by accident and destroyed the thermal paste.

Avast! And Malwarebytes for scanning more stuff.
Malwarebytes is possibly the best thing since sliced bread.

My dad bought his first computer recently, and was such an idiot about everything. He needed flash player for something and somehow ended up buying $70 worth of programs to fix it, which were all those fake pc scanning programs you all know about.
He's so proud though, and doesn't accept my advise.
I put some essentials on it, like Firefox and Malwarebytes one day for him after he bought it. He had a problem and was too proud to bring it to me so he paid some over-expensive computer technician, who 'nuked it' (reformatted in his own words). According to dad, the technician said Malwarebytes is a dubious program, and I didn't hear the end of it, "I told you so son!".

I love my mother.

I destroyed i think like 3 computers, 1 with a researcho virus, 1 by spilling water on it, and i forgot the others. Atleast my bro gave me this awesome Vista.
Your brother gave you an operating system? What about a computer to put it on?

1 with a researcho virus
Easily fixable.

1 by spilling water on it
Still fixable.

My guess would be that your heat sync is covered in dust and cannot get proper air to it to cool down.
This could very well be the problem, especially if it is an old PC.

Kaspersky and Nod32 are the only ones I'd use. Maybe Trend Micro.
Call me old school but I can't get over the days when Norton used all your RAM and sucked ass.

But anyway, whilst I have Kaspersky, and it is very useful, I mostly remove virii by hand.

Well, you could raise the BIOS temperature limit before shutoff for starters, but I'd advise you regulate your temperatures to make sure it isn't overheating much anyway, as it's not good for the PC. There's plenty of free tools to do this, a quick Google search will reveal the best options.
If it isn't overheating in any way, then it's possibly a bad DIMM or an old PSU. These may need replacing.

Not trying to be defensive, just having a discussion with somebody I actually like on the forums.
I was just trying to find out why you prefer them over something cheaper and more realistic.
Maybe you just have more money available to you or something, but I don't have $2,000 to buy a computer.
My budget for my next computer ranges around 700-1100.
I've just been stating that it is the best quality you're gonna get in a laptop.
When are you gonna build your next one?
